HELP > Does anyone have a Pandigital Novel 7 ?

Shannon  (shananigansreads) I have one of these and did the android tablet upgrade and have had disastrous results. Right now I can only use the thing to surf the web (not at all what I intended) If any one knows anything about this please HELP!

I've never heard of them... Try surfing the web... Maybe you'll find something there. Sorry, I can't be more help...
Did you try calling the manufacturer?

Shannon  (shananigansreads) Yes I called them, they basically told me that doing the upgrade voided my warrenty and there was nothing they could do, though the rep I talked to did try several things to help me anyway. I might try calling again, maybe they've had some other complaints by now and they can help. Thanks for looking up the number :)

That's ridiculous that the upgrade voided your warranty. You should take a look at it, cause unless your warranty actually states that... they are still liable...

Okay, so I looked it up... When advertising this update they say...
"This update will retain all of the current functionality of your Pandigital Novel as well as deliver a number of performance and feature enhancements."
This means that they are promising you will "retain ALL of it's old features with new ones", after you did the update you lost functionality, which means that they are still liable. When you call them, mention this. This is false advertising and you could bring a lawsuit against them. Other people have done this and they fixed everything for them. :)
