((RP HERE))

Mirage shielded her eyes from the hot sand blowing around. Her water case sloshed at her side and she gripped her sonic in her right hand

Vega stood in one of the fields, looking up at the red sky. She fiddled with her hair and frowned, looking around.

Mirage started walking in front of her and stopped suddenly, reached down,and pulled a hatch up. She jumped inside it and shut the hatch, throwing her into complete darkness

She fumbled with a huge lever and a huge electric chagre zapped the lights on and she screamed. There were not one, but FIVE lonely assasins all inches away from her

Callistus was wandering around, running his hand through his hair, making it stick up. He saw a girl and became curious, but remained where he was.

Mirage backed out slowly, opened the hatch, and slammed it shut. Great, more of them. She flipped her red hair out of her face and looked around

Callistus smiled. Another girl?

Mirage turned and looked at him from over her shoulder. She turned back and took something out of her pocket and started fiddling with it

Vega felt eyes on her and turned, spotting Callistus. She smiled, then turned back around and looked back at the sky. She ran a hand through her black hair and sighed.

"Gah!" she yelped and clenched her fist.

Callistus made a face, making his hair stick up. "Hey," he called to Vega.

Mirage rubbed her bare arm with her vut hand, leaving a trail of blood, but the blood didn't stick to some places on her arm and madde a bunch of white symbols on her arm

She turned, "Hey. What's up?"

Callistus frowned. "I'm not really sure. It's relative."

She smiled, "True. Quite relative."

"I'm the Entertainer," Callistus smiled. "And you are..."

"The Lyre," she said, smiling slyly. "You'll have to figure out my name for yourself."

"Fair enough. And you have to guess mine. I'll tell you this though; my names means 'beautiful person.'"

Mirage looked around her and put her sonic away, and then entered her TARDIS which had appaered in front of her

James walked behind them "and I'm the doctor."

Mirage came out and come up behind The Doctor, "So your the one everyone talks about?" her firey hair and desrt attire stood out from the small group, but none the less, she looked dangerous

((out of the corner of your eye.the silence.))

"maybe who's asking."

"No one of great importance, because no one knows my name."

"what is it."

"That's for me to know and you to find out, Doctor." she emphisesed on the last word, almost hissing it between her stright white teeth

"you sound mad."

" I have that effect on people." she walked around in front of him.

"it's the way you said my name as if I was a threat."

"It's because you havent met me yet."

"I met you right now though."

Vega grinned, "Who gave you your name? They certainly had hopes for you." And they weren't far off, either. She thought to herself.

Callistus smiled. "I can't even remember. I'm old, but not old enough to remember that." ((Ha ha))

She laughed, "Ah. I still have faint memories of my mother. My father is a shadow, though."

His eyes widened. "Shadow? Like, Vashta Nerada?"

"No, no. I meant my memories of him. He's just a shadow in my memories."

"Oh," he sighed, visibly relaxing. "Vashta Nerada...that would be bad."

She nodded, "Yeah, really bad."

"So. The Lyre." Callistus smiled. "You musical?"

Vega laughed, "Hardly. I sing a little, but I doubt I'm any good."

"Let me hear?" He smiled. "I'll sing to you, if you sing to me."

"All right, you first, though." She smiled back.

Callistus smiled. "There's a reason I'm called the Entertainer." He started to sing, a sad song called 'Vale Decem.'

Vega listened quietly, closing her eyes and letting the sound wash over her.

"Vale, vale, vale decem," he crooned softly.
((Have you heard that song? It's so sad!!))

((Nope.))

Vega smiled sadly, fading memories surfacing as he sang.

((Oh boy. It's by Murray Gold...so sad!))
Callistus ended, smiling at her.

((Ah.))

She opened her eyes and smiled. "I can see why you're the Entertainer. That was amazing."

He grinned. "Your turn, Lyre. I might even tell you my name if I like it enough."
