I think you know what to do lol

Jacob. I love Edward but I have to many problems with him. To stalkerish, it sounds romantic when you read it but if you really acctually think about it. He is a little creepy and not jsut because he is a vampire haha!

First let me state that I'm not really a huge fan of this series. I liked Twilight fine, but then it started to go down hill. New Moon: alright, Eclipse: not so much, Breaking Dawn: (from the half of the book that I read) sank and sank fast.

Now after I get pummeled by the huge fans, I have to say Jacob. Besides the fact that I have the weirdest obsession with wolves and werewolves, I think Edward is a creeper and sort of abusive and controlling. Besides, is there not one flaw to this guy?

I liked the books A LOT but like you said. Edward... Over protective, EXTREAMLY!!! Controlling. He really is like a stalker and if it wasn't "Edward" then other girls might realize this. I read a book written about the twilight series people debating about it. One part was talking about how Edward breaks so many laws like driving fast etc. And she portrays it as fine in the books.

Yeah, I never thought about the laws he breaks. Wow, thats alot of laws.

And you're right he has stalkerish qualities about him.

I know seriously. And with Bella's dad and all I am suprized. Isn't it just a little strange how they NEVER get caught. *raises eye brows suspiciously*

Maybe they slip him some drugs into his food. Just kidding.

Breaking laws? I don't really think driving fast is a big deal. What's a bigger deal is how Bella actually says: Holy crow. Holy crow. CROW! Okay, I like Jacob better, he is the best character who has layers.

Holy crow made me laugh hysterically. The only thing better was "He [Edward] was dazzled and dazzling."

Haha, I sadley like the dazzled line. For multiple reasons but it made me laugh really hard. I dont remmeber the holy crow thing lol what book was that in?

Breaking Dawn, I'm pretty sure.

Holy Crow was in at least Twilight and Breaking Dawn, maybe more. Such a dorky expression.

i would have to say Edward.... he has his reasons for being over protective...i like how he drives, kisses, and like Steph said dazzles ... and i like the whole pale skin love lasting for ever thing!!Jacob in my mind kinda has a temper (not saying Ed doesn't... but he gets mad at himself not Bella.)Jacob is younger obviously...but wont 'live' forever.Bella fell in love with Edward first...Jacob kinda becomes rebound-guy!

I think the love lasting forever is sweet. But when you say Edward came first. In a way I supose, but she knew Jacob first and loved him in the brotherly way which she later found out was more then that! He isnt too bad temper wise and the few things he does get upset about well he generally has the right. Idk maybe I am skipping over stuff without realizing it haha I personaly love emmet and jasper lol. I dont even bother Jacob and Edward seriously have way to many problems! I still love them just idk in a different way I guess

lol... yah i geuss...but i like to believe that Bella's love for Ed is stronger than her love for Jacob... Emmet and Jasper are cool... but like to stick with Edward at least know he can touch Bella and admits he loves her(i've only read twilight so far)

Ah, ya after book 1 I was IN LOVE with Edward. I hope there werent any spoilers if sooo I am so sorry haha. I personally dont m ind knowing what happens but I dont want to ruin it for someone. If a post did give something away let me know and i will mark it as spoiler. I will go through them but jsut to make sure I didnt miss anything haha

Hah yep no problem both me and mom love knowing what happens. We dont mind when other people spill. I did get super mad at one of my friends when i asked if something happened and the lied!!! They told me that what i wanted to happen happened. Then it didnt I was like heart broken lol

id get mad if i got told the wrong thing too! normally i like to find out by myself but this time i just couldn't wait!lol

But it is SO unrealistic. Edward is creepy and stalkerish. Twilight seems to justify abusive relationships. (Not that Edward abuses her, but he certainly is capable, and if she ever left, I'm sure he would).

NO,Edward wouldnt do that he wants her to leave so he doesn't have to worry about his instincts getting away with him...i dont mean to be rude and i'm sorry if i am but, having a vampire for a boyfriend is unrealistic its a fiction series!

If you look past Edwards... Bad qualities its not so bad. I think that is the point of their relationship. The fact that he could hurt her but doesnt. He says in teh book that he would get mad at her if she leaves him. But idk. I guess it's suposed to show how strong their love is.

I didnt really come to my senses at all till I finished reading them or at least finished the first three. They are still in my top 10 favorite books series probaly top 3

What love?! It's an unhealthy obsession on both sides if you ask me. He SAYS he wouldn't, but come on, lets face it, Bella is his only love in 100 years, do you honestly think he'll let her go?

Ya, he is a little pathetic that this is the first person he loved. But then again wouldnt it bewrong to love a new person every 100 years??? I dont think he is really in love love with her at times. A strong crush but I just read Midnight Sun. Which is twilight from edwards point of view there was this huge thing someone put it out on the internet while it was an unfinsihed draft so its only the begginning but its making me think he loves her less and less. I still think its an amazing story though. And edward is still in my heart. *the Gemma Doyle Trilogy is one of the 3 too haha*

Edward also says that he would not be able to "live" with himself if anything happened to her...yes one side of him would be incredibly sad but the other side would be happy that he doesnt have to fight with himself to keep her safe!

Haha, THANK GOD. Yeah, I heard about Midnight Sun. It's horrible, even though I wasn't going to read it. Less and less? Seriously?

The whole books a big mess I will admit that. But gah I still love it. Infact I am a big fan even with the dramatic impossible well story, I think it makes it more idk entertaining. Because it is so unbelieveable.

Well, it wasn't finished, but Meyer's editor sucks, so I don't think it would make a big difference. Well, it's a fantasy, but weak heroines, controlling love interests, and a lack of plot make it badly unbelieveable. Though it is still addictive.

Its believable when your reading it. I dont think its that bad. But you completely right about the addictive thing. I adore the books haha cant help it. Its the first thing I have really really goten into since harry potter!

What about The Gemma Doyle Trilogy? *sad eyes*

id like to read midnight sun!! when i read part of it though there were some interesting errors.but both twilight and mid-night sun are awesome!!!

She is really upset that it got out to the public before it was ready. I mean with the editors she may have had to re write an entire chapter. Now its akward and she just has her spirits totally down in teh dumps at the moment. Makes sense I supose I would most likley feel the same ways he does if that sort of thing happened ot me.
