How is touchstone an insult? I couldn't figure it out.
I'm pretty sure she said it was something like a pet's name, not a man's name. Like it is a childish name. I don't really get how it relates to his past. LIke I know his family was murdered over the great Charter Stones but couldn't his name then be bloodstone or something?

Ya i read the whole series minus Across the Wall (like and aside book about nick) and Clariel (hasn't come out yet)

Clariel is the 4th book....Book three is Abhorsen.
You find out who clariel is in book three but I won't tell you......

Oh yeah. Geez, i really should have known that one. Was she legitly evil?
I don't know..... I think she was an Abhorsen before the chlor. Maybe it said that in the book or maybe I'm making it up, I don't know. I think she was only evil because she was one of the greater dead in Lireal and I guess all the dead are evil.......She was also summoned by Hedge, who is clearly evil, so she has to follow his orders, but she may be a good person underneath.
