no we had damon, coz damon is miles better
Stefan is better than Damon he actually has feelings for her tho he's not as hot as Damon
damon has feelings for her as well. he's completely in love with her and elena is just a bitch who keeps leading him on, in the books, i like her in the show
Okay yea I like her better in the Show too but still...... I don't like how Damon is.. he thinks he can have what he wants even if it does hurt Stefan
yea i do admit he is a bit possessive but i reli dnt like elena in the books especially in the the return novels coz she goes on about how she needs to find stefan coz she loves him so much n the next thing she is making out with damon. she totally leads him on
i dnt think he did at all, i honestly think he loves her and if she truly loved stefan then she would have stopped making out with him but she didn;t.just like at the beginning she's making out with both of them. i think she's so bitchy and she wants the best of both worlds with them both

i love the first 4 but then i think it shoud've ended there i think book 5 was a little played out and i had to force myself to get thru it but then i liked book 6 better

I read a pretty few good points about Stef and Damon, but I still love Damon! Not just because he's hotter (contributing factor!) but because he don't have an Elena. See, he's so obsessed with Katherine and then came in Elena and ONCE AGAIN Stefan has here, he felt neglected. Don't you think he's kind of pitiful?? And then he's brother betrayed him, though for good reasons and I respected Stefan for that but Damon trusted Stefan A LOT. And from what I observed, Damon don't trust people that much. Even though he swore to make Stefan's life miserable, but he still Loved him, despite of their history...well, at least that's what I see.
The ending of S1 was a total cliffhanger, and I kept on replaying the scene where Damon kissed 'Elena' and he's reaction was like 'huh?' - - - trying not to leak spoilers.

In the first books I found Elena to be such a snob and a brat but as the series goes on she becomes down to earth. I think Elena should be with Damon because I think they are just better together.Wait on second thought let her keep Stefan because I want Damon for myself! :D
