Breaking Point [Original RP Collection] discussion

THE 7 ROLEPLAYING COMMANDMENTS:

Some of these may seem redundant, but I ask that you read through them all

RULE 1: Thou shall Respect and Listen to ALL MODS. If this is disobeyed, thou shall get 1 warning, and then be furthermore banned.

RULE 2: Thou shan't God-Mod with thine characters. If this is unclear, ask.

RULE 3: Thou shalt follow all guidelines (below) when Roleplaying.

RULE 4: Feel free to curse through thine character, though thou shalt hold thine tongue when cursing other players; or thou shall be smited.

RULE 5: Thou shan't make any Mary Sues, else they be deleted. If thou is ignorant to thine definition, ask.

RULE 6: Any questions shan't be held to oneself. Thine mods are not going to snap at one who asks for help.

RULE 7: Thou shall have fun in this RP group, else the mods burn your problems down in flames.

More CAN be added to this list, but [the mods] shall alert you if anything changes.

GROUP GUIDELINES:

Okay, okay... As you can all tell, I suck at speaking in ye old English. Don't rub it in, please ;n;

MOVING ON.

#1: Please try to stay as active as possible! Yes, I understand that sometimes an RP might get slow and boring at times, but hey, it happens! We'll need your help to jump-start it, though, so bear with us if that scenario pops up!

#2: DO NOT BE OBNOXIOUS! Comments like "my charrie would have to be bi to have any relationships at this point" in the Crush topics are ANNOYING AS ****. Saphy is also one of a very, VERY short temper, so post questions in separate posts rather than commenting at the top or bottom of your character sheet; as Saphy likes deleting spam.

#3: Be friendly with everybody! We're not here to bag each other, alright?!

#4: If you're not caught up with the RP at any point, don't be afraid to ask for a summary. People who jump in at a random place are usually very hard to incorporate into the RP, so reading the last page or so might be useful too!

#5: Your ideas are welcome! You see, Breaking Point was designed to be a single RP... But, with some encouragement, new ideas popped up. If you happen to come up with a REALLY good original idea, the mods just might consider it (if you submit it to the Brain Storming! Topic) and this group will grow even larger than before!

#6: Please keep non-related conversations in the Chat/Spam folder. I will periodically sweep through ALL THE FOLDERS and delete things that are unrelated to the topic. As you can tell, it bugs me ._.

#7: INVITE! The more, the merrier! If you have any friends that you know are ESPECIALLY good at Roleplaying, please encourage them to join!

#8: Please try to post at least 2 full sentences in your RP post. People need more than, "Amber sat." or "Isabell laughed." to be able to supply a sufficient response. Instead, try something along the lines of:
"Amber sat with caution; the rusty park bench creaking a little under her weight. "Must've gained a few pounds, huh?" She chuckled to herself, settling in as she waited for Seth to show up."
or
"Isabelle laughed; a heart-warming sound that rose from her throat as she smiled widely. "You're such an idiot, Ty!" She said, slapping her best friend on the back in a friendly way. "So man up and jump already! Not like that Bottomless Pit's gonna get any shallower!"

#9: Anything above PG-13 is strictly off-limits. Seriously. No super-detailed stuff. Describing when they kiss is already bad enough ;n;

#10: Follow everything in this topic. I love you, and so do the other mods, but really... Troublemakers aren't worth the drama :P Therefore, since we all really want you to stay... Keep in line! Variations here and there are a nice surprise, but spread it out, okay? ;D
