let´s talk about Bella, love her? hate her? annoying? what do you think?

just right. I don't love her nor hate her. :)

she did somethings that make me find her incredible annoying...

on Eclipse, for me, she was playing with both, jakey and edward, kissing one then kissing the other...

He kissed her so its not her fault and he guilt tripped her I mean I would've kissed him to if he had threatned to kill himself during the fight even though Im engaged

she reli irritates me in new moon. she sits around moping as if her life has ended coz edward is not there. i know she loved him but come on if someone did that to me i'd b life fine f*** off then and get on with my life i wouldn't sit around moping for months

He's her other half though..... we each have an other half and I would be sad if mine left me, She told Jake they were just friends he wanted to be all Macho man 'I'll change that'

yea i know he was but even if i met my other half and he left i would truly be heartbroken but i still wouldn't give up and sit around moping all the time. your heart gets broken you still gotta live your life.
its nothing to do with jacob that annoys me, its the fact that she just sat there and did nothing, he broke your heart, so what? its happened to millions of ppl thats no excuse to sit there and just moan about it i mean come on get a grip. if i knew someone who did that i would actually slap them

holy harsh much... haven't you ever heard of depression? It's a mental breakdown, not something you decide to do. Yeah so what if everyone goes through heartbreak at some point in their lives, everyone handles things differently. LOTS of people go through depression at some point in their life, it is not a reason to attack them! :S A lot of people with depression turn to suicide because the people in their lives treat them the way you are describing, rather than helping them.
My best friend suffered from serious depression and she passed away, so I understand how it works and that it cannot be helped. Just because you are strong and confident, and can handle anything, doesn't make you better than anyone else, or that everyone should do as you do.
I'm not trying to start anything with anyone, I just found that opinion to be pretty harsh and rude, and someone has to stick up for my peeps!!
Also, if you're all "oh it doesn't matter. so what? get over it." then you obviously have never experienced true love, because it isn't a simple thing.

I can pretty much guarantee i know a hell of a lot more about depression than you, and the way bella acts is not depression, its attention seeking, and books r supposed to have characters that are role models. is bella a role model. NO! she is showing that you can't move on that its ok to just give up your life and its not.
oh and when the hell did i say i was better than anyone, i didn't say that and didn't mean that whatsoever, i was stating my opinion but that is no reason to lash out at me, i am sorry for your friend but seriously, there was no reason at all to say all that. and i never said it doesn't matter i said that life goes on and yea its hard but you can't just give up. bella is kinda showing every girl that if something bad happens then they can just give up and wait for something to make it right again. that's not how life is and there ain't someone who's gonna pick up all the pieces and sort it out for you, u gotta do it yourself. sure its hard but then life's never gonna be easy

When I was a Twilight addict, I love Bella, don't get me wrong I still do, but over the years, when I started to notice her quirks, I find her to be annoying and maybe not as strong as other heroines. She's human but she seems more fragile than other humans in a vampire world, so she appears to be kind of whiny to me, but I still love her because she gives so much thought to people she loved.

I so totally agree.... I mean it's 21 centuries girls r not that week ... We do have life beyond boys (even if the guy is super hot, sweet n caring vampire)

I kinda like Bella,I'm not finished all de books I'm half way through eclipse and bought breaking dawn yesterday, I didn't mind the way she moped in new moon, a broken heart does not mend easy, she does whine a bit, but I like the story so far :)

Yes she does and that's what I thought at first, but she just gets on my nerves after a while, lol...

the only thing i didn't like about her in the first book was (view spoiler)[ that at the end she didn't tell Peeta she loved him when it was sooooo obvious that she did. I know she loved gale as well in some way but it was so obvious she fell for peeta in the arena and i hate that she didn't tell him how she felt (hide spoiler)]

Oh yeah, that too! I mean, I'm so Team Peeta but Katniss just appears to me as quite a bossy type, but she grew on me after that.

i don't think she is at all. I think she is so strong and all she wants to do is protect those around her and make sure they are safe and happy even if that means bad things happen to her. She is so willing to risk her life to protect her family and the ones she loves and i think she;s one of the best heroine's in YA books ever. If something bad happens she doesn't sit around and moan and cry about it and wait for someone else to pick up the pieces (Bella) she gets on with it and does the best she can in that situation and i think she is such a great character role model for young girls reading these books.

Haha, I laughed at the Bella part, yes, Katniss is the most sporting, strong, independent heroin characters in all the books I've read, and seriously, I admire her for her courage, but I guess it was her too strong attitude, lol. But I love her, and I couldn't help but love her more in Catching Fire, gah! Have you read the ending yet?
