I just purchased Doctor Olaf van Schuler's Brain. Anyone know about this book?

Thank you for the link. I was able to read the New York Times article, but the author's article has been truncated. (Or maybe non-members can't read it all.)
Anyway, the book seemed to get very diverse reviews by Goodreads members. It sounds interesting enough to me to give it a try. (AND you didn't say anything negative!)
Nope. I liked it. I'm not sure the narrative trajectory works across the book. But the individual chapters are really fascinating and richly described.
I am just startingDelusions of Gender by Cordelia Fine. It looks really interesting. I am very interested in issues of neurology, in particular the brain's mediation of embodiment and experiences of embodiment.
