Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: A Roleplay discussion

This task is for the win.

Objective: Collect the trophy.

Obstacles/Details: This task is held in the Black Lake. As some may know, the lake is home to a Giant Squid, grindylows, and a colony of Merpeople. To make things more interesting, we've also purchased and added a Sea Wasp. (That's a very... uhh... deadly jellyfish.) But to add some decorative scenery and to calm some of the participants, we've also added small, cute, harmless jellyfish known as mushroom jellyfish.

There is a Quadwizard Tournament trophy at the bottom of the lake. The objective is simple. Just collect it, and bring it back to surface.

Mandy walked over to Danny, looking concerned. She put her hands on his shoulders and look him in the eyes. "Don't hurt yourself." This wasn't just a fun game to her anymore. After the Death Eaters...she was really scared.

(( Ah... well, in that case: MANDY! ))

Danny saw the tension in Mandy's eyes and couldn't take it any longer. He launched himself on Mandy's shoulders ..."

Mandy widened her eyes a bit at his intensity. "Hey. Hey, it'll be okay. We'll both be fine. Absolutely. Fine." She kept her arms around him and shut her eyes, hoping against hope that she was right. That they'd be okay.

(( Denmark. Yes, it's a second language. And I'm capable of having a conversations and roleplay, but there are words I don't understand. Plus you guys don't know it, because you don't hear me speak, but it sounds unbelievably stupid xD ))

(( But it's not really a problem. I mean, as long as people understand me and I understand them, a few mistakes doesn't really matter. At least that's what I like to believe, because if I was too afraid to speak a language just because I know I'm not doing it properly, then I would never get better. ))

"We can be allies! I mean, until the end. We rule out everyone else, and then viola, we just have each other to...er, race to the cup."

She smiled back. Aw, your little crooked smile is so adorable! "Okay. So how do we plan to breath in lake?"

"I was thinking that weed thing. But then again...I'm not sure where to get some. And it's a little late for that..."

"Umm. We can Transfigure ourselves into sharks...but ah, I'm not really good at that. Ah! The Bubble-Head charm can work."

Instead of answering, Mandy drew out her wand and said, "Ebublio." and waved her wand around Danny's mouth. A clear bubble-like mask spread like water and encased his mouth. Then she did the same for herself. She grinned. "It worked." Her voice was distorted and echoed.

Mandy lifted her hands for a high-ten.

"Umm...probably still asleep. WAIT. WE HAVE A HEAD START. Ah! Let's go!" Mandy grabbed Danny's arm and began pulling him toward the black lake.

She stopped at the edge. "Alright. Here we go. Ugh. I really wish I was a better swimmer. I suck at swimming." She let go of Danny's arm to jump.

((Nevermind. I'll just let it play out however it does.))

Mandy stood there for a second, shocked into silence. "Um. Um. Um." She stammered, wanting to bang her head into wall. She already just went through this with Jay. But then she bit her lip. It was different this time. She...she liked him too.

"No, wait. Ahh." She winced. "Okay. If it's time for confessions, I really really like you too. A lot. You know?" She paused and took a deep breath. "But Jay...ah, he kinda told me earlier he likes me too, but I said I just liked him as a friend and I kinda implied that I liked you just as a friend too, but I really don't. Ahh. That was a long confession. I'm so sorry, I don't know what this means and all." She couldn't look him in the eyes.

She shook her head and bit her lip, still looking at the ground. "I don't think I'll be able to repeat all that."

"That's good." Mandy whispered back, the task forgotten. "Why are we whispering?"

Mandy kissed him back, her arms around his neck. She was completely surprised at herself, and absolutely enjoying it.

Talia smirked at the lovey couple and jumped into the water in her scuba gear. Remember, she is a ninja and always prepared.

((*cracks up and gasps for air* That...is...so...funny. My sides ache!))

Mandy tried not to hyperventilate. When you're really close to someone you like, blood rushes to your face and you turn into a klutz. At least, if "you" is Mandy. She clasped his hand tightly. "JUMP." She yelled and pulled herself and Danny into the dark water.

Mandy automatically held her breath for a few seconds, then remember that she could breath. She cleared her eyes and squinted to see underwater. Thankfully, the glass coccooned her whole face ((HOLY CRAP HOW COULD THEY KISS IF THEY HAD THE COCCOON THINGS? *facepalm*)) and she could see clearly.

Talia scanned the area. It was a forest of jellyfishes out there. She dodged them skillfully and swam deeper.

Mandy nodded and reluctantly let go of his hand so she could propel herself forward in the water....slowly. She was a terrible swimmer. She groaned. "Ugh. I taught myself how to swim, which basically means I can barely keep afloat."

Hanna and Gabriel came then sat down.
Taylor and Josh sat down as well.

Diana had decided to actually attend the last task. She went down to the lake and sat down between the other students watching the task.

Felicia went to watch the third task, hoping it would be more exciting than the second one but not as exciting as the first one. She hoped Mandy would win, mostly because she was her friend, but also because she wanted the champion to be from Gryffindor.
