That is true! We got sweeps this year, the first time for my school. :D

I'm not going into choir next year at school though. The teacher at the high school is horrible. But choir is always fun. (our teacher now is bi-polar and part of the reason i'm not going into it also. -shudder-)

I like singing and would probably be in choir if I weren't so shy..

It's actually easier to sing in a choir if you like to sing but are shy. (i understand that, i have bad stage fright.) But it's easier to deal with if you're together with people that have to do it as well. That's not to say it's easy just not as harsh.

I used to have the worst stage fright but when I got into theater it had to go away.

Im not even sure if people would like my voice. I mean I think I'm decent, there are some notes I can do really well, but I've never had anyone critique me on my singing becuase I never sing in front of anybody..

See, I could never do that. The theater is not something I should ever do. -shudder- Though it fun to watch other people have fun doing it. :)

You could get singing lessons or join choir next year or talk to a choir teacher. They'd probably love to help you. (unless you're in my district where they'll force you to do it, then scare the crap out of you.)

I swear you'll get over it. The first time I audition I almost fainted on stage, but then you get used to it. I have a very peculiar voice, not like the most beautiful voice but sure i can sing. So I just think, if people don't like my voice, deal with it, I like it.

Perhaps one day I will..I've been in plays before, but that was when I was younger and wasnt as nervous. I mean, I was still somewhat nervous, but not like I am now. Sometimes I just want to kick myself and say "Get over it ya big wimp!" lol

I never listen to myself. But my friends in choir always tell me that they can hear me. I don't exactly know whether that's good or bad. .///.

Some people say I have a good voice but i know I'm not celine dion. lol

lol... my choir (the only advanced choir togo to this compotition) got ones!.... and itry out for all the solosbut im an alto so i sing better with groops so i can match to there pitch... but i canalsosing sap 1+2 alt 1+2 sometennor and bass too!....but i dont have a very good solo voice... im more of a backup singer...i also pick up on anunciations of other languages... and my director LOVES me...... imhis favorite studint...

that is why my director likes me.... i can be flipping out backstage then go onstage and look like i dont evan care that i have an audeance.... i am just singing for the fun.... which i am...

my director does not get mad.... but when he does he crys..... he is a very emotional man.... i always bring himtisues.... lol..... but we all love him...... he is relygood...

he is amazing..... i dont know what i would do without him.... well night... i have the statre test tomorrow.... it will be easy tho..... the tests are SO easy!

I used to be in choir but the instructor was incredibly annoying and made us sing songs about strange things. I ended up quitting and then about half the choir quit so she was very annoyed at me.

At least you got to move. Our instructor barely let us blink and she told me off once for smiling (in a mad way). Very harsh :P

lol..... my school district taks the arts WAY seriously.... and we are all rely smart at the school...(you are either RELY smart or RELY stupid)...but UIL isamajor thing for my school district so we have AWSOME Great arts Teachers!.... i love My director!
