Mark put a protective arm around Nina as they sat huddled under an outcropping in the rocks, trying to escape the wicked storm. "I can't believe this happened." Nina whispered to him.
"I know, I know." Mark said. "But we'll get through this." Luckily, the plane had crashed on the beach, so they were able to salvage their bags and whatever survival goods they could find.
Julia spotted Mark and Nina on the island she waved her hands at them thinking they had come to save her.
Nina squinted her eyes through the now only drizzling rain."Mark," She nudged him. "Look over there."
He looked in the direction she was pointing and saw the girl too.
"Who do you think it is?" He asked.
"I'm not sure, but I think we should find out." She said starting to stand up.
Mark followed her, the wet sand squelching beneath their shoes.
Ashlyn read a magazine she found when the plane crashed.Kevin couldn't believe his sister. She was reading a magazine when there could be survivors from the crash! Idiot sister....
As they got closer to the person, a girl, Nina saw how excited she was."What, does she think we're like a rescue squad or something?" She asked Mark.
"Maybe, or she could be just excited their are other people on this island." He sighed.
Kevin snatched the magazine. "Moron!" He threw it on the ground and squinted, seeing Nina and Mark. He grabbed Ashlyn's wrist and pulled her over to them."Damn it, Kevin!" Ashlyn said angrily as she tried to swipe at his face.
((aww, that's not very nice of him, lol))Nina stopped.
"You know what? I don't want to meet some strange island freak." She said trying to pull Mark away.
"Nina," He said. "Be reasonable I know you're not a very social person but this is live or die! We might need somebody else!" He shouted. She flinched, she didn't like it when he brought up her problems with other people. Seeing her hurt expression, his face softened.
"I'm sorry," He said. "We'll do what you want, let's go find some real shelter. Hopefully closer to the trees." He suggested as they started walking in that direction.
The 2 of them finally came into view of Mark and Nina. "Hey!" Kevin Shouted.Ashlyn rolled her eyes. Stupid brother...
Nina gasped. How many people were on this island anyway? She wondered irritibly. Mark was the first to recover."Hey!" He called back. "Who are you guys?"
"I'm Kevin, and this is my sister Ashlyn!" Kevin stopped in front of them.Ashlyn crossed her arms. "Who are you?' She said somewhat nastily.
Nina sneered at the girl. She didn't need this crap from someone she doesn't even know. Mark oblivious to the Ashlynn's tone responded."I'm Mark, and this is my siter Nina." He couldn't help but notice how pretty Ashlynn was.
Kevin had a sparkle of concern in his eye. "When did you get here?" He asked, particularly looking at Nina.Ashlyn nodded. She held out her hand for Mark to shake.
Kevin raised an eyebrow. Ashlyn was never polite.
Mark shook her hand, enjoying the warmth her skin against his provided."A couple days ago, during the hurricane." Nina said, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Don't tell me you didn't notice it?"
Ashlyn smiled and twirled her hair.Kevin shrugged. "Those kinds of things happen a lot. I don't really pay attention to them." He loved the way Nina's skin shone in the sunlight.
Mark reluctantly let go of her hand.Nina frowned in a way that she did when she was thinking.
"A lot?" She asked. "How often, because there was another girl waving to us on the beach. How many survivors are there?" She asked skeptically. She felt uncomfortable under his gaze, noticing how his eyes were roaming her body. Nina wasn't used to that kind of attention, but she always realized, that she kind of enjoyed it.
Kevin shrugged. "Usually like once a week or something." She was soooo pretty.Ashlyn's eyes shone in comparison to the ocean.
Speak Now wrote: "Julia ran over to Nina and Mark " Are you guys a rescue crew " said Julia"Jaidyn wrote: "Kevin shrugged. "Usually like once a week or something." She was soooo pretty.

Mark was shaken from Ashlynn's eyes by the apearance of this new person. The girl who was waving to them earlier.
"Are you kidding me? Look at us!" Nina scoffed at her. "You actually think we're here to rescue you?" Her voice rose at the audacity of this girl.
"Be nice Nina." Mark warned. "No, sorry we're not here to rescue you." He stated simply. Nina went back to looking at Kevin. He was really cute . She thought distantly.
"Julia." Mark repeated, trying to be friendly."Good God!" Nina snapped at the sudden appearance of another new comer. "What is with this island?" She said. She irritated by all these interruptions, she really just wanted to be with her brother. And possibly Kevin...
Soul's eyes narrowed slightly at Nina. "I've been here for a couple weeks already, actually. so really this is my island you're all invading."
"great, then leave" Soul retorted, then sighed and rubbed his temples. "no, please don't leave. this island is taking a toll on me. I'm sorry."
Nina didn't say anything, but instead turned away. She couldn't deal with some... lunatic right now.Mark looked over at him.
"I'm sure it has," He said. "And trust us, we would love to leave if we could."
"So, I supposed we can't waste our time standing around here, sun's setting fast." He said reffering to the darkening sky. "It'd be great if we could find some shelter before it gets dark. And in the morning my sister and I'll won't bother ou anymore. We know how limited supplies can be."
Soul looked at him for a moment. "actually, this island is quite large, and supplies are abundant. I've made a little lean-to while I was here, and I've been working on creating a larger hut. I think that it will move much faster, with the supplies from each of your crashes."
"Uhh, no thank-you." Nina said abruptly. "We can take care of ourselves, with our own supplies." Mark hesitated before answering. "I'm sorry, but I have to agree with my sister. I'm sure this situation is only temporary, and if it's not, well, a hut isn't permanent." He said with an apologetic look in his eyes.
Kevin and Ashlyn snapped back into reality. They were in their own little worlds with Nina and Mark.... "Sorry." They said in unision. They both glared at each other with annoyance.
Seeing the newcomers depart was a blessing to Nina, she got a strange vibe from them."Mark right though," She said suddenly. "Do you guys have some sort of camp we could possibly stay for tonight? Last night was awful, huddling under the outcropping over there." She said asking Kevin.
Soul narrows his eyes at Nina, then flicked a glance at Kevin. Suddenly, his eyes widened with surprise and amusement. "people move quickly" he murmured under his breath.
Rainheart wrote: "Soul gave a glance in Julia's direction. "and you?""" I got here when my sailboat wrecked why won't anyone come find me " Julia groaned
"No one's been past here since I've been on the island, and I've been here for a couple of weeks, I think."
"I've been here for almost a year." Ashlyn pointed out.Kevin smiled. "Yeah, Ashlyn and I have this beautiful camp. It a while to build, but it was worth it."
"Really?" Nina asked. "We'd love to see it."Mark nodded in agreement, he wasn't sure why Nina was excited to be aorund these two, but he didn't mind. It meant more time with Ashlynn.
"Great! Why don't we go now?" Kevin started toward his makeshift house.Ashlyn hung back with Mark.

"Can we go inside?" She asked carefully.Mark loved the way she smiled. "So where are you and your brother from?"
