Cool, I'm Muslim, We belive almost the same things as Jews and Christians, except that Jesus is not the son of God. I think we also have a few different things like Muslims don't eat pork, We don't drink alcohal AT ALL,We don't do drugs, ect.

But I like learning about world religion, Im pretty open-minded.

There are some parts of Christianity I find interesting, as well as Buddhism, Hinduism, Asian religions, Wicca, and other various belief systems. I try to learn a lot and keep my mind open. Though I just call myself agnostic.

Cool! I was raised in a Christian family as well, but my mom and I seperated from them when I was 11 because they were really disfunctional. My mom and I sorta began to fade away from the church after that, eventually becoming agnostic. Both her and I like learning about world religion, me more than her though.

And I love meeting Wiccans! I find Wicca to be such an interesting, beautiful religion. It's sad that there is so much false information about it out there.

I am Roman Catholic which is similar to Christan...just another branch off of Christianity.

we believe that Jesus was the son of god ect...

also we tend not to eat meat on good Friday (but the pope changed that recently) same thing for Christmas eve we have fish that day then Christmas day we can eat meat.

Wicca is a very nature based religion, believing that the earth is alive and such, the thing is is we use good magic to help others, but because of the Church in the 1400's, there is ALOT of false info and propaganda about Wiccans/Witches.

Wow, two atheists and two agnostics already? I'm pleasantly surprised.

Sooo... make that three atheists. And one more person who loves learning about religion. Even if I don't believe it, I think most of them are cool. Hinduism in particular fascinates me.

I'm Jewish, we follow the Torah, which has commandments that we (try to) follow. we believe that there's only one G-d, and we don't believe that Jesus is G-d's son. We also have different holidays- we don't celebrate christams, easter, valentines day, or st patricks day for the reason stated above. oh and we believe in an afterlife.

Well we don't celibrate chrismas, easter, ect. either, only some people celibrate birthdays(me! lol) and Eid, which is a holiday where kids and woman get money! Even though that's not the main point....
Anyway, we also fast, where we don't eat or drink or smoke or chew(gum) from sun rise to sun down. It's pretty hard but you get used to it! We also belive in the afterlife too. And that there are 7 levels of heaven, and we also belive in hell. Correct me if i'm wrong about some of my religion's belifes, I'm not as religious as I should be and I hope to get more religious. =D

To learn how others feel who don't eat as much and be thankful for everything gad has given you.

yeah we also fast several times a year. the biggest fast is Yom Kippur, where we try to atone for our sins. we only have to fast from 12 and up for a girl, and 13 and up for a boy though.

We fast only once a year for a whole month but you don't start intell your mature or your parents say so.

also religious jewish ppl (me) keep shabbos which is every friday, from sundown until saturday night (25 hrs). During that time, we don't use any electricity - don't drive, no computer (no goodreads!), can't cook, etc, and its basically supposed to be a day of rest for us.

one my jewish neighbor asked my sister to ty=urn up there heat cause they couldnt on suday

i mean Jewish ppl aren't supposed to rely on not Jewish ppl to do things like turn up the heat, but why'd she say no?

Same with me... It annoys me when my friends get mad at my friend Emily and I because we cantor... we only cantor because we got to mass EVERY WEEKEND! She is forced to go to mass at school ( i go to a Catholic school) but she gets mad at me! IDK y but We are only singing May Crowning because we know the mass parts and our school is getting an evaluation so we kinda have to look like we know what we are doing! AND SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND SO I DON'T KNOW Y SHE IS GETTING SOOO MAD!!! It makes me sooooo ANGRY!! (sorry i had to get that out... *starts turning red*)

lol, we do pretty much act like regular ppl in terms of that. we have a fast day that comes out around the summer time, which commemorates the destruction of the 2nd Temple, and also tragedies that happened in our history (such as the Inquisition, and the Holocaust).
