i said earlier.

wow. at my school, that's called an earthquake drill. we do have lockdowns (intruder drills) where we all get to hide. it's pretty fun, but we only do it once a year. we also have tornado drills where we go crouch against the wall in the hall and cover our heads for fifteen minutes.

wow. we have a shutdown. its nothing special. just TAKS stuff. they gives us food that shouldnt even be called food.

yes. at 4 o' clock when school gets out. just like regular school hours. from 8:44 to 4:00
some kids get their parents to pick them up after lunch because they finish the test before lunch. i never know when im going to finish, but its usually about an hour or less after they tell us to start.
we have social studies TAKS tomorrow.

wow. your in sixth? my sister is in high school and she gets out at 2:45! but she has to go in at 7:15

7:15!! WOW! I'm in tenth grade. I start school at 8:00 and get out at 3:20.

i get up @ 5:45, my bus comes at 6:30, and my school day starts at 7:30 (the bus ride is LONG!!!)

9:00-3:45! Dakota Step is awful. They give you 2 hours, but it only takes me 30 min. so I'm just sitting there reading the rest of the time. Basically everyone's like that.

wow. same here. Except with reading TAKS they give us different passages to read then answer questions on them.... i reaqd those thing in under a minute then i finish the test in under 10 minutes. then i have nothing to do. next tiem im getting my mom to come pick me up from school early

yep! other people in my testing group tell their parents to pick them up before or after lunch. :) i just never knew if i would finish on time.
