Of the 45 books I've read this school year, some clear patterns emerge. My fascination for YA literature is best represented by the under-appreciated
, a book that is funny but also full of heart. My reading of The Boxer and the Spy reflects my willingness to try new authors, and
is by far the best recent book I've read, one that includes serious ideas about the meaning of life in the face of despair.
With only five weeks before finals, I need to read something more substantial (longer? more complex? deeper?) and
or
might fit that goal.

This year I have benn reading a lot of Christopher Mooreso I chose
to represent that.I also realy like action/adventure books with deeper meanings. To represent that I chose the books
and
These are all very good books.
be more chill, my friend lenord, and son of the mob. they show how i read cuz they all have issues i deal with and i like reading book that have that deal with what i may be dealing with to see how it gets resoveled and see if it may help me out in life
Hi, i'm Paul...Anyways, this year the three books that represent my reading are No Choirboy: Murder, Violence, and Teenagers on Death Row, Scars, and Tenderness. These three books basicall y sum up my reading because most of the boks that I have read, deal with life experiences and the struggles with our "inner demons". Out of these three books my favorite is Scars because it was extremely real and interesting throughout the book.
Out of all the books I read this year the book that most made an impact on me was the chronicals of vldimir tod this whole series was very good and intertaning.Another book is living dead girl it gave me a mirrior of what she had to live and last the book ghosts of war was my favorite book all year. it really name me look at things differently and enhoy the small thing in life that I have.
this year I have beem reading alot of teen drama such as Sugar and Spiceand Twenty Boy Summerare some good examples of books that fall into the teen drama category. The genre of books that interest me the most are the YA novels.
The book Dirt Road Home reminds me about a lot of times that when over, I was glad to be home once more. The book Exposurerepresents many times where friends or family have been in bad situation, where i chose to help them so that they would not get in trouble. The graphic novel Refresh, Refresh: A Graphic Novel made me think of things that Ive done, or that have happened to me. That i wish never happened. I hope to read a couple more books by the end of the school year.
The three books that represent me would have to be Perfect Chemistry because it reminds me a lot about my own relationship. The next book would have to be An Egg on Three Sticks because I can see myself in the main character and doing the same things because of the situation shes going through. My last book is The Notebook because even thought its not my all time favorite book it is a very cute love story and that's my favorite type of book love . My goal for this year is able to pick out my own books without the help of Mr. DeBarger
This past months i've been reading funny comedy, u can't get hands of the page kinda books. Such as
currently reading the second part of it which is
. I also have been reading serious and dramatic books, which really connects to reality such as
and
which are both from the same author. The exprince to these great books was fantastic. I really do recomend them.
The three books that represent my reading this year are the Hunger Games trilogy, Cryer's Cross, It's Not You, It's Me. They represent my reading because they deal with teenagers and they're life struggles. Also because I can connect better with books on teenagers.
The three books that really represent me will have to be Hate List because everyone has a list of people they highly dislike (especially me),its a way to let out some anger without people knowing. The other book that represents me is Winter Girls cause at some point in my life I really stressed about my weight. The last book would have to be Thirteen Reasons Why because every little events that happens in our lives make us closer into thinking one way out..The goal I would love to accomplish is to read many more books before the school year is over.
I've been reading a lot of YA genre books but out of all the books I've read this year, these three books stand out the most; Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and The Enemy by Charlie Higson. These books start out really slow, but it picks up the pace and it gets really interesting. These three books are a real page turner. My favorite out of these three books is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I've been meaning to read the sequel but I just don't have the time for that yet.
Right now, I'm currently reading a history book, mainly about the Native Americans. The book Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West by Dee Brown, a really challenging book; true sad story and I think everyone should read this. You will know more about the natives and what REALLY happened. I'm half way, so far so good. And also lately I've been having interest in history books. I might pick up some American History books once I'm done with this.
The three books that represent my reading are Two-Way Street, White Oleander, and Paint It Black because it shows that I'm open to any genre of books. It deals with the different relationships a person can have. Within these three books my favorite was Two-Way Streetbecause it deals with a situations from two perspectives.
The three books that I have read are
. The second book tht I read was
. the third book that i read was
. I like to read vampire books, i like the fiction of stories. these books are all the same genre but they are all different in ways.
This year I have read alot of drama and suspense books like Crank andHeartsick because those kind of books are what I am interested in. I've also read romance books like The Guardian. I chose those three books because those best represent the type of books I have read this year.
Reminds me of how ive struggled to fit in with socity at time. In settings such as Reno, NV, ive have been lets just say different.(The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian). The book The Coldest Winter Ever makes me apperciate family way more. And the book Project X tells me to treat others how they wannna be treated.
Out of the ten books I have read this school year,
is by far the best one because it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Another favorite one is
because as I read it all I wanted to do was get to the end.
and
are inspirational story's that makes me never want to get into drugs and sell my body the way the people in these books do.
