The Ultimate ABC 123 Challenge discussion

Post all of your questions here, as well as any suggestions you might have regarding challenges or for general imrpovement of the group. All feedback will be helpful =D

question first - I'm new, so maybe I missed it, but I tried to do a little exploring - Where do we talk about the books we're reading for the challenges? I mean, like "Oh I'm almost done with X, and it's got goddesses, and are any of you reading it?" or like "I need a Fae/Witch book for letter K and all I can find is stuff like so-and-so but I'd rather read this-and-that - any ideas?"

I mean, I saw the title recommendations, but just lists of title without members' annotations isn't what I want. Thanks! :)

suggestion second - Could we have a challenge for athletes/sports? I have a few books on Mt. TBR that I just can't talk myself into picking up, or into giving away either. I need a nudge please!

I saw that there is an ABC Debut Author Challenge, but not one for just an ABC Author Challenge. I had already started just the plain ol' Author challenge and was hoping that it could be added?

BTW, I'm new here and excited about joining in. =)

@ Cheryl: I have posted a thread labelled 'Books for Challenges' which will be for books you're reading for challenges.

Have also put up a sports/athletics challenge.

Another Question - are we expected to make each entry unique? Or, can we do the first Harry Potter for "R" debut author, and Potter for "P" male character, and (from a later book) Sirius Black for were/ shapeshifter, etc.?

No, you can use one book for as many different challenges as you like. But you cannot use the same book more than once in one challenge. So for example if you were doing the ABC Minor Character challenge you could not use both Snape for "S" as well as Flitwick for "F" from the first Harry Potter book. And I will also be putting up an ABC non fiction challenge later today. Sorry it'staken me so long to respond to that suggestion.
