Lost souls discussion

Mira swung up easily to a higher branch, her hands scarcely seeming to touch the branch. She landed on her feet and walked along the bough.

Seraph sat on a wide branch, staring at the sky moodily.

Aria sighed and started scaling up the tree. "I hate this..." she groaned.

Hallow swung from the branches going about her daily life in the tree, unseen by anyone.

Aria stared ahead of her. She quickly climbed the trunk and sat on one of the huge branches, She sighed and looked out over the water that was so far in the distance.

Cyan hid himself in the shadows of the branches as he always did. People made him feel uneasy and he was always socially awkward. He had always know there were other people in this tree and he had thought of meeting them but never got to it. He sighed as he stayed in the darkness, the darkness that had seemed to consume him a little more each day.

Aria leaned against the tree trunk and crossed her arms. She stared up at the never ending branches and leaves. She sighed.

Cyan walked on. He smiled when he saw the moon gliter through the branchs, brighting his shadowy deepths.

She looked out past the tree, the night sky was glittering with stars. She smiled and sat down, leaning against the tree.

Cyan quickened his pace, he despartly wanted to see the sky.

Aria wandered a little way along the huge branch.

He finally made it to a branch that opened up to the sky and he sighed happily.

Aria lay down on the branch, staring at the night sky.

((You two should really hurry up and meet... It's gonna take 'till next year at this pace...))

Cyan went to the very end of the branch and smiled. He breathed in a deep breath.

((Grrrr))

Aria brought her gaze back down from the sky, only to see a boy on the end of the branch.

Cyan eyes flashed when he saw a girl. His eyes widened a little and he backed up.

Aria backed up. "Who are you?" she asked.

Cyan looked at her but didn't speak. He hadn't heard his own voice in a while and didn't know how he would sound.

Aria took a couple of steps forward. "Who are you?" she repeated.

He shook his head and backed up more.

Aria stayed where she was. "I don't want to hurt you..."

He looked at her with trusting eyes. He knew that even if this girl did try to hurt him he could fight her off easily. He smiled a small, tentive smile at her but stayed away.

She returned the smile. "My name is Aria."

He nodded, "Cyan," he whispered into the night.

She smiled. "Nice to meet you, Cyan."

He smiled back.

She smiled and sat down.

Cyan stood there awkwardly.

She shrugged and rolled over onto her stomach.

Cyan walked over and sat down next to her.

She smiled at him.

He smiled and breathed in deeply.

She lay back on the branch.

Cyan looked around. He still felt kinda weird being around people.

Aria lay back.

Seraph saw two people sitting awkwardly on a branch. This should be interesting... She dropped down from the branch above. "Heya!!"

Cyan jumped to his feet.

Aria spun around. "Oh, hey!"

"Heya Aria!" Seraph grinned. "I came to break the awkward silence."

Cyan watched silently.

Aria grinned. "Heya Seraph, haven't seen you for a while."

"I know right, it's good to see you again!" Seraph said, hugging Aria. "Who's the guy?"

"This is Cyan, just met him."

"Hola Cyan!" Seraph said, smiling at him.

Mira approached. "Hey, Aria," she said quietly.

Aria looked around to see her sister. "Hey Mira!" she said, hugging her.

Mira stiffened, then relaxed. "You know I don't like hugs..." she muttered.

"I know, but I haven't seen you for a few days..."
