when i meant "story form" i didn't mean we're making it into a story. I just wanted people to no do the bullets. Please continue off your last post if you are not finished. Because this wasn't supposed to be a continuing story. Sorry for not making that clear.

StoryWeaver | 75 comments She ran through the forest, the metallic taste of fear strong in her mouth, tears streaking down her face as her hair flailed wildly behind her and the branches of thorny bushes relentlessly tore into her clothing ripping it bit by bit to shreds.

As she ran deeper into the forest towards the watch tower it was slowly getting dark, a kind of unholy darkness that her mind wanted to call black, a kind of blackness that only made her heart sink deeper with scary thoughts of anguish and agony pushing their way out from behind her already thinning resolve to survive . Right from the moment she heard the twigs snap from just beyond her camping spot ,her base instinct had told her she had to abandon all her belongings and just get the hell out of there.

Not the stupid sort to ponder over why she was running faster than she had ever done in her life she just got out of her tent and ran. But athlete that she was she felt as if her very life was steadily being outpaced by the unknown evil pursuing her. Every time she'd slow to catch her breath she was sure she could her the leaves rustle or a twig snap but in a way that suggested something huge slimy and slithery was steadily and surely gaining upon her.She knew she'd be safe if she could make it to the watch tower before even the Sun gave up on her chances of surviving.

She could finally make out the outline of the watchtower in the fleeting sunlight but knew she might have the run the last stretch in the pitch black darkness of uncertainty with only the hope and will to live as her beacon. Another thorny branch ripped her whole tattered sleeve off just Sun vanished out of the sky as if it just couldn't watch her struggle any more. Steeling herself with a fresh burst of adrenalin born of desperation she gave herself a last burst of speed feeling the undergrowth give in to her pounding Nikes.

Just as she was getting into the rhythm for the finish an exposed root caught her unawares and she was practically launched off her feet, slammed into the tree and tossed back off as if with disgust into a neighboring bush.Battered physically , mentally and emotionally she no longer could care. As the numbness of defeat threatened to take over she realized it wasn't just any root she'd tripped over and she hadn't hit herself against just any tree. She was at the base of the watch tower. Fresh hope surged through her mind as she tried searching through the the blanket of darkness behind her for the threat she knew was there, the threat she knew was waiting, the threat she knew she WOULD NOT give in to!
