Steven (tbones) | 592 comments Oo, you so lucky, hope you enjoy it :o) It sounds like one heck of a cool book from what the ads and other people are saying.

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments hey I just changed the topic title so people will know there could be spoilers and I'll let James know the thread is up and he can hop in as he gets the time. Talk about a busy dude.

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments Is this book for sale at Walmart yet? If so I'd like to pick up my copy before I go to the signing. Plus with Walmart being cheaper, I may end up with the funds to get a copy of the Jake Ransom series too :O)

Cici I really enjoyed the Judas Strain, I still have Sandstorm and the Last Oracle, I will eventually read them!! and I really, really want to read Alter of Eden the most! Jennifer explained the storyline to me and I LOVED what she was telling me about it! Jeez, I really gotta catch up to you guys!!

Cici From reading just one of James Rollins book and reading reviews from his other books, this guy is all about action, action, action, a real manly book and I happen to LOVE action as well!
I'm pretty sure he's big into having everyone solve these puzzles in his book and he's all into science, which makes it all so much fun.

Cate (The Professional Fangirl) (chaostheory08) Is there a signing anywhere in or near Los Angeles? :)

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments I think he may have already done a signing down that way and is heading up this way but you should check his website for his tour schedule.
Yeah Amazonia was full of action and some creepy, mean, nasty critters.

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments Ok I gotta let you all know that James Rollins is going to be a riot in here. The guy is so funny and he had people laughing all through that store. He could do stand up comedy easily if he wanted to. His timing is empeckable. Had he been able to pull off the ventriloquism talent when he was younger he would have given Jeff Dunham a run for his money...and you can all ask him about that story cause it's so worth your time.
Finally, he signed so much stuff and with his schedule what he did at that store and having the energy he had, he is a very impressive man.

I would like to add a HUGE THANK YOU to James Rollins for such a great time in Portland,OR. My son won't stop talking about him and loved his stories.

Cici That is awesome! He seems like a great guy!

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments Oh hey also that book we are reading in Book Freaks has been a lot of fun so far. Have you had a chance to check it out? If not, so you know, I think it will be a very fast paced read and it will be exciting. D.J.MacHale is quite the story teller as well and I think if he and James Rollins ever got together they might cause a lot of mayhem...their siblings are sure happy they are both off on their own now I am sure :o)

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments hey just wanted to send a message out letting people know that this discussion will go on a little longer but I don't know if we will see Rollins in here as he is a very busy dude and I believe he is in writing hibernation time at the moment.
