Beyond Reality discussion

Welcome to May everyone,

It’s a brand new month, so we have two new books of the month to discuss. For May, you selected:

May Fantasy: The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
May SF: When Gravity Fails by George Alec Effinger

There are a couple of starter topics up for each book, but please feel free to start more. Unless someone else wishes to do so, I’ll be leading the discussion for When Gravity Fails, and Stefan will be leading discussion for The Wise Man's Fear.

- Please note that The Wise Man's Fear is the direct sequel to a previous Book of the Month, The Name of the Wind. The discussion for the first book is still alive here, so if you're new to the series, you can still jump in!

In other news, our discussion of the WARS OF LIGHT AND SHADOW series by Janny Wurts is wrapping up. All the discussion threads for the books in the series are still open, and Janny is still monitoring them, so if you haven't joined us yet, it's not too late to pick up the first books in the series and discuss them with us and the author!

In our Short Story Discussion folder, we're continuing the project we began in March: we're reading the stories that are nominated for a Nebula Award this year. You can find the details here. Please take a look and join us to discover some great SF/F short stories.
