Dylan (dmfriend26) | 46 comments Calling all Anne Rice fans. Have you heard of Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt? It's very good. An instant classic about Jesus Christ. Plus it's fiction so it's not boring. And if your a true fan of Anne Rice you must read this book. It's got supernatural elements to it too. Because Jesus is capable of almost anything. He can kill someone and then bring him back to life. I highly recomend it! :D

Terri (terrilovescrows) | 16 comments So to disagree with you, but I wanted to like this book but it was soooo boring. I felt like it dragged on and on. And actually I believe the story of Jesus killing someone and bringing them back was originally from one of the lost gospels. Anyway, because I wanted to like it, I will likely try reading the second one at some point to see if the writing is any better

Alexis (aesquibel25) I love Anne Rice books so I'll definately try this one out :)

Dylan (dmfriend26) | 46 comments Well the reason you think it was in an old gospel is because that's where she got the information from. All of her books she did research on. Even the vampire chronicles. She works very hard making her books accurate and well written. That's why I love her.

Michelle (shadowrose) Once I get the chance to read other things I'll try it out.

Dylan (dmfriend26) | 46 comments Interview with the vampire's the first one. Start with that. :D

She has only written one Vampire series and that's the famous "Vampire Chronicles" there's 12 of them. Interview with the vampire is the first one.

A Filthy Youth groupie | 7 comments I've heard Interview with a Vampire was good. So, I went to the library yesterday, and they didn't have it. But I am, like, dying to read it.

Hannah (hannah7299) | 11 comments I've added this to my "to read" list. Thanks, Dylan!

I've seen the movie, Interview with the Vampire and it was really good, so I'm pre-ordering the book to see if it lives up to the movie.

message 12: by ♥ Rachel♥ (new)

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) it's probably better than the movie.

message 13: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shadowrose) I enjoyed reading Interview a lot.

However the same can't be said for Queen of the Damned, it was good but there a dry spots all through out the book. So in a way the movie is better but it doesn't explain much so for the full story the book a lot better.

message 14: by ♥ Rachel♥ (new)

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) is queen of the damned the next book?

message 15: by Dylan (new)

Dylan (dmfriend26) | 46 comments No, The Vampire Lestat is.
Here's the order:
Interview
The vampire lestat
queen of the damned
tale of the body thief
memnoch the devil
the vampire armand
merrick
(not sure about the last few) mabey:
blackwood farm
blood and gold
blood canticle

BurgendyA | 39 comments I always finds the same reviews on the books sites that Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt was boring.

Three of my friends have read it and didn't quite like it. Heck!. One of them didn't even finish the book b/c of how boring it was. I miss Anne Rice's eariler work. Like every else does. =)~
