I think so. The top ten reviewer topic page is like this;.
So, I guess I'll start.
I would suggest all of you (if you haven't already) read J.R.R Tolkien's epic fantasy-- The lord of the Rings and the hobbit.
It's a world that is easy to imagine, the chracters seem real, and the plot makes sense. It's easy to follow and very descriptive. The books are filled with beautiful poems and songs, a long for very wise quotes. Overall, it's a great read-- wonderful for a rainy day or a long voyage. You won't be able to put it down, I promise you.
My rating:8.5 5/5.

My rating:

I suppose out of the many books I could
I know what you're think, ugh, Stephanie, not 10 books. That's way too long! Normally, I'd agree. But Flanagan is brilliant! I don't really enjoy a series with more than five books. I may even stop reading one if I find out it's longer than what was expected, but Flanagan is an exception. His story didn't get old. It was fresh and new everytime. The characters are realistic, believable, consistent, and entertaining.
Over all I'm giving it 5/5 stars, but that's only because that's the best the Goodreads system can give me. I would give it way more if I could...and if you don't believe me, go read my reviews.

It is absolutely enchanting! Entwined is unlike anything I've ever read before. I could hardly put the book down.
The writing isn't anything spectacular but somehow, I managed to feel like I was reading one of the most graceful pieces of writing on earth. I can only describe it like a dance. It's a wonderful book!
The characters are so fun and easy to love. I'm not sure which one was my favorite. There was hardly ever a dull part. And the author produced moments where you absolutely had to smile or laugh. The girls were so very lovable. At first, the King seems like a hard man but even then there's a hint of gentleness about him.
The Keeper was originally portrade as a graceful, kind if not mysterious man. He was a wonderful part of the story. At one point though, in just a few sentences, the author managed to describe him in such a way that you realize how dangerous he really is. But his character is still somehow graceful in all his movements. All of the characters seem to in some way have this grace about them no matter how they were described; it was actually a wonderful touch.
Entwined is filled with love but not so much that you get bored with the same thing happening over and over again. There were a few instances when it was filled with what I suppose you would call, frightening images. They weren't gory or anything like that. But it was just so different from the rest of the caring feeling in the book that it sent chills down your arms and neck.
5/5 stars!

If you have a spare day or two please read, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.
Don't get freaked out when you read the cover info....really it is not intense, okay maybe a bit. So basically this book is non-fiction. It is the story of a woman, who in 1951 died of Cervical Cancer. She was a poor black woman living in Maryland, a daughter of tobacco farmers. When she was admitted to John Hopkins for treatment, the doctor decided, without her knowledge and obviously without her consent, to take samples of both her cancer infected cervix and healthy cervix. They were taken to the lab to see if they could be kept alive.
This book is a little bit of the story of HeLa, the cells grown in the lab, but also about the woman who gave her cells and her family. Now, since her death, her cells have helped millions of people suffering from numerous diseases. She, meaning HeLa her cells, have paved the way for vaccinations, drugs, and testing, yet ethically it makes you really think about the scientific arena, and the money that is generated and profitted by those types of companies.
I LOVED this book. It is one of my all time favourite reads, it made me think, it made me cry, it made me talk....and that is what a book is supposed to do.
ENJOY!!!!
