I've always wondered: How do people hear about Goodreads? My dad joined it and that's how I heard, but what about other people who's families aren't on it?

One day I was just searching the internet for awesome quotes, and I clicked the goodreads website. I was interested in what this thing was so I looked it up. I liked it so I asked my Mom if I could become a member and she said that it was fine! :)

Cool! I remembered my dad mention it so I thought that it might get me into reading again so I asked if I could join and my parents said yes.

I was waiting for a book to come out, and I was freaking out waiting for it, so I searched for some reviews if there were anyone who read the pre-release. Then I found this website, and I really liked it because it wasn't like a blog with just one person's opinion on a book, it had hundreds! Then I became a member. I wasn't particularly obsessed, but then I discovered the groups...

I was kind of obsessed, but I wouldn't be on anywhere near this much if it weren't for this group. I made quizzes and took quizzes.

Lol. I accidentally found Goodreads when I was looking for a review on a book I wanted to read. I made a profile automatically, but once I found the groups......anyways, my mom found out I had an account, and she got mad, because I'm not even allowed to have a Facebook. So she said I couldn't go on anymore, so I'm always sneaking on.

Yeah. I don't have a Facebook either...I have to wait another two or three years....But besides, the friends that I have that have both Facebook and Goodreads think that Goodreads is WAY better. :)
