Saffy walked into the school, looking around at all of the students who were so much taller than her. Eleventh grade at twelve years old. If I was a year younger, I would probably be the subject of even more ridicule. she thought to herself, then shifted the straps of her backpack and went to find her locker.((Is it ok that I started on the first day?))
((yep! I was planing on starting on the first day as well))
Christian and a few of his friends had navigated to their lockers, which were within a minutes if eachother. So, they stood in a neatral location and talked, catching up with eachother. They laughed and talked for a while before tgey headed their seperate ways to their own lockers. Christian dialed his combination, which took a few times to get right, and started to put in a few things.

Saffy came up to the locker beside Christian's and checked the number, then put in her combination and started organizing her locker the way she wanted it.
"Good morning." she said brightly, deciding she might as well know who one person was in this school.
"Hi," replied Christian, putting the last of his things in his locker. He looked at the inside of his locker, it was pretty organized, for now. No doubt it would turn into a mess soon.
"I'm Saffy. What's your name?" She looked over at him out of the corner of her eye. He was tall - but of course, to her everyone seemed tall. His accent wasn't quite American, she could tell that, but she couldn't pinpoint the exact country. Athlectic? she thought, then Yes, but which sport? A quick glance at his locker door told her he liked hockey. Her own locker door was bare, but soon she would put a few of her favorite verses up.
"Christian," he replied with a smile. "If you don't mind my asking, how old are you?" he asked, looking down at her. He didn't think she looked like a normal highschool, she was shorter for one thing. But, hewasnt sure if that meant anything because he had seen girls Saffy's height that were older than Christian.
"Both!" Christian said, with a proud and semi-cocky smile. "Most Canadian guys play hockey at some point in their lives."
"National Hockey League," Christian replied with one nod. "In other words, the professional league."
"That makes sense," she said with a nod of her head. "So I would assume being watched by them is exciting."((I'll be back in about half an hour to forty-five minutes. I'm babysitting right now.))
((yay!))
Christian shrugged. "Ive looked at a few colleges. But, I'm hopingto get drafted into the NHL when I'm 18."

"Well, I could always do some classes during the off season. It's not like I'm going to be playing year round," Christian said.
She looked at her scedule. "And where is room One-oh-three? I'm supposed to go there for homeroom, but I am completely lost in this school."
"103 is down the hall and to the right, I think," Christian said, after a moment of hestitation.
"Thanks. I'd better get going before I'm late..." she said, and started walking down the hall. "T'was nice meeting you."
"Byee," Christian said, before walking in the direction of his first period; math. A few of his friends caught up with him and they walked to class.
((we could skip to another period such as PE or an elective. You can mix grades in non acedemic classes))
((oh. I thought she was an 11th grader. Oops. So, they could have the same 2nd period or something))
((k. how about science? Or history?))She walked into the classroom and sat down. She realized immediately that she was in the english room - posters sporting grammer rules were hanging on the walls and books filled the room. The teacher looked at her a bit strangely, then came over and asked her what she was doing there. "I came to where my scedule told me to go. This is room 103, right? The door plaque said it was."
((sure, that works))
Christian walked into the classroom and took a seat near the back. He chose it because it was a prime seat for texting in class. He looked around the room for a breif moment.

"I'm Sappheire Silver. I should be on your list... here." she said, pointing. "Please call me Saffy, though. I'm the new student from the orphanage." she added when the teacher still looked befuddled.((I should go to sleep; it's really late.))
((I should as well. But I'm hanging out with my older brother and we aren't fighting so I might stay up a bit longer))
Christian drummed his fingers on his desk, quietly and impatiently. He looked at the teacher and then saw Saffy. He thought back, attempting to remember her name. Eventually, he remembered her name.

Saffy went through a simmaler conversation with this teacher; all the teachers seemed to think she was supposed to be in middle school. She saw Christian and waved, glad to see a slightly familiar face.
She looked back at the teacher. "If you really don't beleive me, I suppose we could vist the principal, but I'd rather just start learning. Besides, if I really was a middle schooler I wouldn't even want to be here. Whatever we're learning in here would probably go right over a middle schooler's head."
Christian watched the teacher talk to Saffy. It aroused a mild curiosity from him, as he contined to watch their conversation.
The teacher glowered at her and went over to the phone. After a short conversation they came back over. "Sorry, Saffy, it seems I was mistaken." Saffy nodded and smiled. "That's alright. The mistake was perfectly understandable."
Christian smiled as one of his friends came in and sat next to him. They engaged in a conversation about sports.
