Ooops, I think I meant Paul Costanzo. Karen's mainly done non-fiction and literary fiction (though she did Mrs. Piggle Wiggle!). I'll ask her to pass along any tidbits as she goes. This is fun!
How fun for you to be in on the production process! I LOVE hearing a male and female narrator. Keep us in the loop.
Hey, Karen White is the narrator Lea interviewed in the AAR column last month! She sounded very impressive. And several people (I think) have said they liked Just the Sexiest Man Alive better in audio than in print.Sounds like you drew a winner!
Krissie I gave my congrats on Karen White in the Tantor thread, but again, way to go! She was awesome with JTSMA as MaryK mentioned. And that interview shows you couldn't have asked for more attention to detail from a narrator. The male / female narrators are great, when it's not the POV type.
Krissie wrote: "Thought I'd start a topic here for any info I glean. Karen White and Paul Costanzao or doing the audio for RAZIEL (and I presume the follow up). She just emailed me asking for pronunciation tips...."I second all that's been said about Karen White - she is an exceptional narrator. Very glad they went with a dual narration for this one.
Any plans for audio of ON THIN ICE?
That's going to be interesting. It's going to Amazon directly, and of course they own Audible, but we're in the midst of negotiations. Fingers crossed.

Been talking to Karen White -- she's already finished her part of the narration for RAZIEL. For some silly reason I pictured her in the studio with Paul Costanzo, who's doing the male part. But he's recording it separately. She's prepping for DEMON and I think going right back into it.
Tantor's very fast at turnaround, bless 'em.

Just thought I'd mention that I got the call that Tantor had bought the FALLEN books when I was down at the NEC conference (end of April) and the books are already recorded. I love how fast Tantor is.

Oh my God I hope this is the correct space to post this- from Elizabeth Hoyt's Blog:"I just sent back the galleys for Thief of Shadows. Whew! The galleys (printed pages that show the layout of the finished book) are the last step I have to go through to finish the book. It's a lovely feeling to know that a book is finally all done. If you're a reviewer, you should be getting an arc (Advanced Reader Copies) soon.
Meanwhile, I'm hard at work writing Lord of Darkness, the fifth book in the Maiden Lane series, which will be out February 2013. And! I've just heard that all three books in the Princes Trilogy: The Raven Prince, The Leopard Prince, and The Serpent Prince will soon be made into audio books, with a release date of February 2013 as well. This means all of my books will be available in audio book! "
Omg Prince series is coming to audio!
Lea's Audiobooks wrote: "Wow Brittany - you must be magic :) Wonder who picked them up. Think she would share with us??"I've written her. It took her a week or two last time to respond. This is remarkable timing. I must give you and Brenda credit for buzz. :) we are all magic. I mentioned this group in my message. We'll see...
