I don't like them, but I think the UK Wolfsbane is way better than the US one. At least it doesn't look like a raunchy adult urban fantasy!
I don't even know what they're trying to do with these books. What kind of audience are they trying to attract with these new covers? It doesn't seem to suggest blatantly that it's a paranormal. It actually reminds me of something like oh, crap I forgot the name of it. The originals were amazing. I liked the concept of the New US Nightshade, but the execution for everything else has really fallen flat.
Well there seem to be people who like the new covers. So... :/
Some people would also say they like the cover even if it was hot pink and fluro yellow... I know the covers aren't the book but I think it plays a big role and I agree with you.. just what audience do they want??It makes me sad my set wont match, and it makes me sad that the UK covers have NOTHING to do with the books (in my eyes) Yes the US new cover of NIghtshade had a good idea behind it but if that means that the Wolfsbane cover is an indication of what we are about to read.... we have some dirty dirty YA ahead of us lol
Australia's still got the old cover, I checked on Hachette only a few days ago, go into August hihglights and you see the nice old cover =)

I really enjoyed the original covers
