Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments Love Scars, follow up to Love Tattoo, should be out sometime in June from Evernight Publishing. Here's the blurb:

After marrying her sexy undead husband Will Brennan, Cara Riley Brennan thought her happy ending would last forever but she soon learned that the course of true love doesn’t ever run quite that smooth. Just when she thought they were settling into eternal bliss, Sallie Hawkins, the woman who made Will into a vampire in the past, intrudes into their lives. She’s wicked, she’s jealous, and she won’t stop till either Will or Cara is dead.

Her psychic presence tortures them both in body and soul but when she arrives outside their home in the flesh things go from bad to worse. Cara and Will realize that confrontation is inevitable.

When the three meet for battle, they all may not survive and in the end, who lives and who dies is up to Cara who will do anything to keep her chance at a permanent happily ever after ending intact.

Alex Sinclair Hi Lee, great blurb. June isn't far away. Are you excited or nervous or a bit of both?

message 4: by Lee (new)

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments I'm both! I'm waiting to get the edits in hand so the ms will be ready and I'm eager to see if sales take off. The story is the follow-up to Love Tattoo and I have one more to complete it, Love Knots, that I've not submitted yet.

message 5: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair I am sure the sales will take off. Love Tattoo looks like it done well on Kindle! And people love sequels.

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments I love this business - my long planned September release was moved up last week to June 15 so I started getting ready - it moved up again and is now out!

Love Never Fails is a contemporary romance, my first release from Rebel Ink Press. So far it's at All Romances but within 48 hours it should be up at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Coffee Time Romance and more.

Here's the blurb:

Old love sometimes fades away...

When a late night phone call from the former love of her life interrupts
both her sleep and her otherwise quiet existence, Caroline Cunningham
finds she can’t refuse Reid Ramsay's request for help. As the call pulls
Caroline back to her small hometown and into the heart of the search for
Reid’s missing brother, Caroline finds the feelings she thought she'd
buried where Reid was concerned are indeed alive and well.

And sometimes it refuses to die...

Reid Ramsay is still in love with Caroline Cunningham. As they work
together searching for Reid's brother, Reid and Caro finding themselves
attempting to rebuild the life they once shared together. But their
future remains uncertain. Before they can find the happiness they seek,
each must work through the emotional baggage of the past and test the
theory they desperately hope rings true.

message 8: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair Congratulations on the release. That has moved pretty fast for you. I loved the blurb and I hope it gets many sales! If you have a link to the book I will put it out on twitter for you.

message 9: by Lee (new)

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments Thanks, Alex. It has moved very fast - and since I have another from Evernight in late June and my Champagne release in July, it's going to be crazy for awhile, I think!

I hope it gets a lot of sales too - the six sentences yesterday on the blog got the most hits ever so I'm hopeful.

It will be on Amazon soon but for now here's a Barnes and Noble link

Thanks!!!

Therese Gilardi | 58 comments lee, i just googled red ink - is this a publicity firm you've hired yourself? thanks ....

message 13: by Lee (new)

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments No, I haven't hired anyone (no money!)..Rebel Ink has their own in-house publicity gal, Lila Munro, and she's great. It's the only one of my four e-publishers that does!!

message 14: by Therese (new)

Therese Gilardi | 58 comments that is really nice! lucky you! the promo part is quite a learning curve ....

message 15: by Lee (new)

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments Yes, it is - right now I am very impressed with Rebel Ink Press because they have been doing more to help me promote than the other pubs I'm with so far!!

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments Thank you so much! Promotion is the name of the game, I guess - it's our Memorial Holiday weekend here in the states and I've worked, mostly promo for the new book but no complaints. It's all part of the author gig!

Kelsen Jacobs | 7 comments Hello Everyone,

I have just released my first two erotic short stories. They are centered around a mystery writer and his girlfriend. Any feedback or reviews are always welcome. Thank you all

Novel Desires
Unwrapped

Still he sought control, as his hands moved of their own violition. Caressing her taut stomach then over her silken thighs. Derrick smiled and nestled to her cheek before a soft kiss was placed to her shoulder blade. He loved to touch her. His hands ached for just these moments, when he could feel her soft curves and reassure himself she was real. There was something so peaceful in just tracing her lines and stroking her skin, and when Nikki murmed her pleasure in her sleep it urged him on. Her breasts had to be explored and cupped to feel the fullness in his hands. This was not an animal passion.. it couldn't be after what he had witnessed earlier. This was lovemaking... this was surrender.. this was giving her pleasure because giving it to her made his all the sweeter.

message 26: by Therese (new)

Therese Gilardi | 58 comments congrats and best of luck with the short stories!

Lee Murphy (leeannsontheimermurphy) | 62 comments LOVE SCARS is out today from Evernight Publishing! Just $4.99 at Evernight, Amazon.com and more!

message 28: by Steven (new)

Steven Moore My new YA sci-fi thriller The Secret Lab has just been released as a $0.99 Kindle download. The Midas Bomb is also available in eBook format and Survivors of the Chaos will soon be. The adult novels are dystopian sci-fi thrillers with a touch of hope. The young adult novel has the magic of space travel without needing magicians, vampires, or werewolves--but it does feature a very intelligent cat who knows calculus!

Kelsen Jacobs | 7 comments My new short is now available. Sinful Symmetry is Book 2 in my Written Temptations series. Available for .99 on Amazon and B&N

Derrick attends his first book signing and discovers he is not alone. Carson Lancet, the serial killer, has escaped and is looking to inspire Derrick to write another story about him. After speaking to the police Derrick rushes to the club to ensure Nikki and the other dancers are safe. A case of mistaken identity at the club leads Nikki to a night of wild passion and abandonment.

I have a new release just out this week at amazon, "Now and Forever 1, a Love Story." It's not a cookie-cutter contemporary romance but an emotional story with a dark side to it, too. Being a romance it has a HEA and it's heat level is sensuous, two-flames.
Also inside you'll find the first 1,000 words of the next book in the series, "Now and Forever 2, the Book of Danny."
Now this shameless promotion is over! LOL.

Kent | 7 comments The Burleigh Drummond short story Ash Wednesday is available in Kindle format at Amazon.com.

On the day after Mardi Gras, New Orleans fixer Burleigh Drummond forces several people to repent for their greed and betrayal.

Ash Wednesday is a re-telling of Cinderella and exists in two versions. The story was originally published in the Erotic New Orleans anthology and reads like a letter to the Penthouse Forum. A revised version appeared in Thrilling Detective magazine and is safe to use as a bedtime story.

Both versions are bundled together for one low price.

Steven Moore I haven't tried this before, namely offering free ebooks for honest reviews to my European readers. (Anyone else in the U.S. have any experience with this? Confuse by all the different Amazon sites?)
I'm trying to line up reviewers for my new thriller Aristocrats and Assassins. It's the fourth book in my "Detectives Chen and Castilblanco Series" and takes place almost entirely in Europe. The background theme will also be of interest to Europeans. Why are NYPD homicide detectives C & C even there? What nefarious plot do they have to thwart? And why does this relate to Hillary Clinton?
Email me (steve@stevenmmoore.com) if interested in reviewing this new release. My budget is limited, so first come, first serve (you need to be able to read .mobi files).
Thanks from this Yank for your interest.

Jim Power (jimpower) | 1 comments When a fellow writer said that I should write a western novel, I found the idea intriguing. Then I did something I've never done before. I let the novel write itself.

Let me explain. Everyday I started at 8:30 a.m., merely sitting at the computer with no outline and no idea what would happen. I was determined to watch the novel unfold just as a viewer would watch a movie. And that's precisely what happened with my novel, Blaze. The novel wrote itself. All I did was tap the keys.

It's odd, you know, because I was thinking about Edward Snowden at the time and there is a theme in the novel about the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

There is also some historical and painful information, along with a scorching hot love story. For some readers it may seem a little odd, but others will get it.

- Jim Power

Jim Power sometimes writes under his pen name of Summer Newman, including the novel, Blaze. He has been published internationally by 60 magazines and newspapers, including by the Smithsonian Institution and by many of the top outdoors magazines in North America. He has a long history of publishing fiction, from dozens of short stories in New York magazines to seven novels in 2013/2014. He studied Honors English at Saint Mary's University and majored in Russian Literature at Dalhousie University before becoming a writer. In his youth he hitch-hiked tens of thousands of miles.

Steven Moore Back again with yet another new release! Silicon Slummin'...and Just Gettin' By is the second novel in the Mary Jo Melendez mystery series (Muddlin' Through is the first). While I've written sixteen novels and two short story collections, Mary Jo is becoming one of my favorite characters. (All books are listed here on Goodreads and Amazon.) The first novel jumps around in Europe, South America, and the U.S. This second novel finds Mary Jo in the Silicon Valley of California. Just throwin' it out there for anyone interested in yankee and hispanic culture, mystery, and adventures.
An online toast with my glass of Jameson to you all!
r/Steve

Mark Maki (makibooks) | 1 comments Hello, I'm Mark from MakiBooks and I want to present to you a new serial killer named Morton Berlocke. You can find out all about him in the horror novella The Burlap Killer. It's 147 pages long but be forewarned, it's more under the 'extreme horror' genre. If you enjoy slasher books/flicks, like descriptive settings, and have the stomach for gore and suspense, then this is for you. I'll provide links to my Etsy and GoodReads pages.
