Ooh, this could be my forte XDI love learning about the Eureka Stockade too, the goldrush time was interesting.
We're learning about the Stolen Generation right now, which means... RABBIT PROOF FENCE!
I love that movie, as sad as it is at times.
Ooh, NAPLAN. We don't spend too much on toys and games :D
HAHAHA! I think we kinda do. I'm happy with my persuasive writing peice. Both me and my mate were finished the language conventions and reading by the time the teacher said that half time was up... :O

There was a mistake in one of the questions, and another one too, depending on who you ask (some people think it's Mrs. and others think it's Mrs )

Yeah, it is.
It is sad and I feel sorry for them but it doesn't mean that they should get paid to go to school... :(
Have you read it!? It's awesome!

That is my favourite historic novel EVER!
I also suggest A Rose for the ANZAC Boys, by the same author [Jackie French].
I had to read it for school; we had to summarise each chapter which was annoying but it was still a good book despite all the boring school tasks associated with it ;)

As proud as I am of Australia, I just don't think we have enough history to talk about. We're a young country, just saying.
Well, personally, I just think we don't have as much history because we haven't had as many wars, as well as being a young country...
Yeah that too. I kind of meant it like... I'm more interested in other countries' history. Like, there's a National History Challenge that's going on and we have to link our topic in some way back to Australian history and for me, it was really difficult to think of an interesting thing to write about that could be related to Australian history (apart from the obvious: wars, Olympics, Settlement vs Invasion etc).
I would've either written about the Stockade or women's rights... but I really couldn't be bothered doing the challenge.
URGH! That reminded me. I have homework.
