Cecelia sat in the back, admiring a doodle of a dragons wing she had just done on a scrap of paper.
Fleranda peered in and realized there were too many "shorties" and backed out into the hallway...
Natalia Johnson ((Professor Johnson to you!)) put the students at tables for two people each, putting Cecelia and Fleranda together.
Dreadr walked in and sat down making a noticable effort to avoid eye contact with her older cousin Fleranda...
((Sry, sry.))
"So class, today we'll be talking about the notorious Elfric the Eager. Does anyone know how he effected our history?"
"So class, today we'll be talking about the notorious Elfric the Eager. Does anyone know how he effected our history?"
((Yeah, me, sorry.))
"Hi! Are you here for this class? If you are, we were just talking about Elfric the Eager," Johnson replied.
"Hi! Are you here for this class? If you are, we were just talking about Elfric the Eager," Johnson replied.
"I am not familiar with who that is, Professor." I just joined here this year." Serena replied. "Serena Carrington, Gryffindor House."
"Hello, Serena! And if you don't know who he is, then you're in the right place." Professor Johnson said. "You can just sit by yourself at that partner desk until someone else comes. Now, Elfric the Eager? Anyone? Okay, I'll give you a hint- he was responsible for a revolt of some kind. And he's wasn't human. Does that help?"
Serena thinks long and hard for a few minutes. "Was he responsible for the giant revolt or something? That sounds right, I think.."
"ELfric the Eager was one of the many goblins who rebelled against wizards in 1612. Now, using you History of Magic books, I want you to come up with reasons goblins might have rebelled." said Johnson. "You may work with the student I paired you with. Serena, you may join Cecilia and Fleranda until another student comes."
((Uh... tried to put you with the most active people who have RP'd in this thread, but unfortunately even they haven't posted lately...))
(So far, I think I am the most active. Can we do something? I really like my character to learn and develop.)
((Yeah, okay, I have an idea.))
"On second thought, Serena, please stay at your desk and I'll give you some hands-on help," stated Professor Johnson, sitting at Serena's desk.

"That would be really great professor. I am so new at this. So I have some idea about why the goblins revolted. I think they revolted because they didn't feel respected. They probably felt like they were being treated like slaves."
"Absolutely right. Do you know the common belief among goblins, even today, that causes them not to trust humans?"
"I think they feel humans are better than everybody else." Serena responded. "I am not sure, I am just guessing."
"that is absolutely right. But what I'm referring to is the belief that any goblin treasure should be passed back to them after the wizard owner has died."
"Really? I didn't know that. My parents were too busy to tell me about any of this stuff. How do they know if it is goblin treasure?"
"Goblin treasure has several unique qualities," said Johnson. "It repels dirt, takes in substances that make it stronger, and is made of a special metal."
"Actually, I'm not sure. It's one of the goblins' best kept secrets," Johnson said with a smile.
