There is a listopia dedicated to the Salem Witch Trials:http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/33...
Not all are fiction, mind you. :)
The Crucible by Arthur Miller. Actually a play, but quite good. It's also a veiled "account" of McCarthyism which was a modern day witch hunt.
Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to check out the listopia on the Salem Witch Trials but I would also like to read book based on other countries as well. Thanks :)
Kathleen Kent has written a prequel to Heretic's Daughter. It's about the husband in Heretic's Daughter, called The Wolves of Andover.
I will look into that, thanks Mary. The next book on my reading list is Kent's The Traitor's Wife. I believe it is a prequel. Looks good. I just finished reading The Witch's Trinity and I enjoyed it.
I really like Witch stories. Check out these:The White Witch by Janet Graber
Witch Child and Sorceress by Celia Rees
Beyond The Burning Time by Kathryn Lasky
The Burning Time by Carol Matas
The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe
The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare
How about
... I haven't read it yet, myself... but it's a newer release and seems to be gaining in popularity
I have to recommend The Greatest Knight by Elizabeth Chadwick followed by The Scarlet Lion. Believe it or not, I had never heard of EC before The Greatest Knight was offered to me as a freebie through ereaderiq.com as her introduction to the American market. Oh, what an excellent book! I love history, especially English history. Chadwick certainly has her facts and storytelling together. I really do think this is the best medieval I've read since Anya Seton's Katherine. Enjoy!
Marilyn, I recently purchased The Greatest Kinigt and The Scarlet Letter although I haven't started them yet. Glad to hear you liked them. Katherine is one of my all time favorites, too.
I recently read Daughters of the Witching Hill and really enjoyed it. I haven't read The Mandrake Broom but that's about witch trials.

I have a hankering for some historical fiction based around the whole 'witch trials' topic. I have read The Heretic's Daughter and Children of Witches. I am pretty sure I read some other ones but I can't remember the titles at the moment.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
Steph
