Jacek If anyone ever enjoyed a romantic comedy novel or series, please recommend me some because I'm running out of things to read.
I loved "A Lot Like Love" by Julie James - sharp humor, sizzling romance, intelligence ... lots
Same with "The Night Huntress" - Cat & Bones

Please recommend me some books. I'm dying to find another favorite book!!!!

THANKS!

Mel If You have't already, I would recommend any Jennifer Crusie books. They are sweet and hillarious.

TheNelliReads (thenellinel) | 3 comments For now I recommend Janet Evanovich (not the Stephanie Plum series). They're cute, lightly humored stories. I'll go through my collection and see if I find anything else.

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 366 comments I'll second the Jennifer Cruise suggestion. I loved Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie and Getting Rid of Bradley by Jennifer Crusie .

Tania | 644 comments I'll third the Crusie suggestion - no one does it better.

Janet Evanovich is great - Stephanie Plum Series - first ones are brilliant but are starting to get stale now, the Motormouth books are hilarious.

Molly Harper writes light hearted PNR. Good fun.

Vicki Lewis Thompson's nerd series is a fun read. Particularly if you like beta heros. They can be a bit hit and miss though.

I should warn you though that neither of the books you mentioned are what I would consider romantic comedy though and the book's I've recommended above are. They're my -when I want a lighthearted break- books.

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 366 comments For funny PNR books, it's hard to beat Shelly Laurenston.

message 7: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Wild Jinx is the funniest book I`ve ever read.
The others in the series are pretty good too.
Oh...By Sandra Hill

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1517 comments I agree with everyone above that Crusie is the Queen of romantic comedy and that Evanovich's stand-alone books are fun, quick reads.

Some others you might try:

Katie MacAlister (my favorite is The Corset Diaries)
Kasey Michaels
Christie Craig
Julia Harper
Susan Mallery (Falling for Gracie and Sweet Success are my favorites)
Leslie Langtry has a light-hearted series about a family of assassins
Jana Deleon
Lisa Lutz Spellman series isn't a romance, but has a great sense of humor and there is romance in the stories.

Joanne | 195 comments I finished reading Fourteen Days Later by Sibel Hodge Fourteen Days Later (Romantic Comedy) by Sibel Hodge last night and can recommend it. It had me laughing out loud a number of times.

message 15: by Suzie (new)

Suzie Quint I love Mira Lyn Kelly's books. My favorite is Wedding Ring or Wild Fling (I know. Cheesy title). It reminded me of early Jennifer Crusie.

message 16: by Suzie (new)

Suzie Quint Oh, and Rachel Gibson's books are good too.

message 17: by R.L. (new)

R.L. Mathewson (rlmathewson) | 18 comments Shelly Laurenston, definitely as well as G.A. Aiken and Dana Marie Bell is really good as well.

Claudia Patrício (iseul) | 2 comments Ok, so, maybe I'm posting this in the wrong section - which I do often, but I'm not dumb I promise! lool - but i've been looking for some nice reading. I looooooooooooooove YA, and I'm currently obsessing with Teen romance - so sue me! :P!

Problem is, everything I've been reading is... well, not nice at all :S It's boring, lame and very predictable. I've read 'Beautiful Disaster' by Jamie McGuire, and know everything is lame :S!

What I'm looking for, basically, is a nice teen romance, maybe a bad boy would help :P!

Help please!

message 19: by Emily (new)

Emily For teen romance, Claudia, I'd recommend Simone Elkeles and Stephanie Perkins. Simone's are heavier, as in more dramatic, life and death situations. Stephanie's are more rom-com-ish. Both are really good, imo.

Claudia Patrício (iseul) | 2 comments Done Elkeles lool Love her =D That's why everything else looks boring now :S I loved the Fuentes brothers!
