Chloe nervously went up to her new foster home and ran the doorbell She hoped people were nicer here.

Chris sat around outside with nothing to do. He stared up at the sky boredly

Saffy opened the door and saw Chloe. "Hi! You must be Chloe. Come on in."

She shut the door behind her. "Mother and Father are out right now, but they should be back in a few minutes. They left me to hold down the fort and give you the grand tour." she said cheerfully. "I'm Saffy, by the way."

Oh cool. Are the parents nice?" she asked nervously.

Chris went to the door.

Chris knocked on the door and waited.

Chloe decided to answer it. "Hi I'm Chloe." she said opening the door.

"Chris." he replied

Nice to meet you. I'm new too so I can't show you much." she replied. He's kinda cute...she thought.

"It's cool." he smiled "How long have you lived here?" She's kinda cute. He thought

10 minutes. I literally just got here." she said smiling.

"That's cool."

Yeah I guess. You come in though." she smiled.

"Hi Chris. I was about to give Chloe the tour." she smiled. "This is the entry hall. That gaping door-shaped hole in the wall leads to the kitchen, that one leads to the living room, and that one leads to the dining room." she said, spining slowly in place and pointing at each doorway as she said where it went.

Chris shut the door behind himself and watched her point.

"Upstairs are the rooms. Chloe, you'll be rooming with me. Chris, you're next door. Mother and Father are in the master bedroom. There is one bathroom upstairs and another right there." she pointed at a closed door to the right of the front door. "And that's pretty much the whole house."

"Cool." Chris said his hands in his pockets. "So what do you do around here for fun?" he asked

Are the parents, nice?" she added on to his questions

"Yeah." he agreed. "Or are we going to be cowering in fear under the beds?"

"I read and go on my computer, but there are sports fields in town and most kids hang out at the arcade. And yes, Mother and Father are nice."

She sighed in relief. "Thats cool. Are there any other kids here besides us?"

"No, but more might be coming soon."

Oh ok. Can I go put my stuff in the room?"

Chris looked out the window, "Sounds intresting." he said

"Yeah, make yourself comfortable. I think I moved all my stuff to my side, but if I missed anything just stick it on my bed."

Chris kept his back pack on, "So your parents adopting us makes us all sorta brother sisters?"

Ok Thanx he said putting the stuff i'n there going back and standin by them.

He put his hands back in his pockets and looked around

She looked over to Chris and said, "It's actually kinds nice here."

"It is." he agreed

"Mmm." he replied
