All Things Books discussion

For anyone who has book recommendations they'd like to share.

A couple of books that I recommend are Fins by Ashley Knight, Element Keepers:whispers of the wind by E.P. Marcellin, Cold Touch by Leslie Parrish, Deadtown and Hellforged by Nancy Holzner, Change of Heart by Shari Maurer, Girl by Blake Nelson, Taking Woodstock, and A Child Called It.

I agree that Fins is an excellent read. I have read the sequel (in ARC form), entitled Fathom, and it rocks as well. Digital Kingdom by Rick Chesler was a little different than I normally read but very good. Water for Elephants was outstanding. Charlaine Harris' latest Southern Vampire Series novel was fun. (This is the series HBO's True Blood is based on but so much better than the show!)

I'd have to recommend "The Land Beyond the Portal" by J. S. Bailey, because I wrote it. ;)

Other than that, I love the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz.
