YA Book Lover discussion

So, I'm Courtney, the founder of this group. I also started the YA Book Lover page on Facebook:

Since Facebook changed their policy on users hosting contests and giveaways on their pages, I decided to create a group on here where we can have fun =)

I am an avid reader and writer. I am currently halfway through the first draft of my dystopian fantasy novel (the working title--for now--is Sacrifice) with a goal to be finished with the first and second draft edits by September which is when I will be pitching to an agent at a conference. I also have several other novel projects in my head that I will work on while seeking representation for Sacrifice.

I love to discuss any and all things YA. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

hey im Lindsey and im 29 and live in Louisiana.
im a hair stylist and i love to read, run, garden and camping.
my fave books so far are the Hunger Games trilogy.

the worst book i ever read was...well, many tie but i cant honestly say because ive put many down cuz they were so dull.

currently im just getting to Clockwork Angel by C. Claire.
i just finished Carrie Ryan's Forest of Hands and Teeth Series.

hey yall! i had the pleasure to meet Casandra Clare and Ellen Hopkins in New Orleans. they had a book signing at a small quaint bookshop in NOLA where they read excerts out of their new books and had some Q&A's. I just finished City of Fallen Angels by Clare. I usually read YA books bu now im on a new venture. Ive started In the Woods by Tana French.
