My mom hates that people are getting mad at America because we wont support illegal immigrants. Our country is doing poorly right now as it is, and we don't need people coming in from other countries demanding we give them jobs and school education, etc. especially being non-citizens. I have nothing against foriegners or anything, but our country just can't handle more people right now.

Okay so I'm from mexico and as you all know, most immigrants come from mexico, the majority are mexican but not all of them are. I, as a mexican who has a good life here, are against immigration. I mean, why do people have such trouble going through the usual legal immigration steps! People who go there are poor people, and sadly, uneducated people who do no good to the latin culture name. And sadly it speaks bad about us, people leave mexico and talk about it like it's the worst thing in the world, and personally i love my country.

((quick question, why do you call the US America? America's like the whole continent, geographically speaking, just curious))

If for whatever reason I moved to the US, I would do it legally, I travel there legally all the time!

Sometimes. But here's a naco's mentality. They believe (not all of them though) that everything should be given to him in hand. They're resentful about people who have money because they think 'if they have money, why don't i?' Not even thinking about that people with money work lots for it. So I think sometimes that happens to immigrants, they're like, 'why should I have to wait months for the process if i wanna go now?' and the worst part is that it destroys families too.

True, but sometimes the kid's life would be better in the US you know? But still, it's wrong, some kids don't even know where they're going.

True too. Sometimes young people leave to the US and their kids are born there. But later when they get sent back for whatever reason, well some of them don't but some of them do, since they were born there and parents didn't bother to teach them spanish, they suffer a lot.

Idk what happens in Mexico (like the drug wars and all that) but I really don't like when people immigrate illegally. I know it's not only coming from Mexico, but that's where the majority of the issue is, right? My family came here legally and we go through the legal process to bring anyone over. Yes, it's long and can be complicated but who said life was easy? Deal with what you're given and don't try to cheat your way through it.

And I think they come here for a better way of living, not for jobs. If they wanted a job they should've stayed where they were because lots of American jobs go overseas

No, they go to have a better life which a better job will give them. At least in mexico anyway. The government pays miseries to the people here and many of them work on the streets. In the US even the cheapest jobs pay better than in mexico.

Well we're (America) already in debt and The majority of our budget goes to necessary spending like SS and welfare (I'm not completely sure about the welfare but I'm pretty sure), so even if they do come here and get paid more, it's not enough to keep up with how we live here. So, they'll probably get welfare, which will kill us even more

Your mexican? Cool so am I. Well, I didn't normally generalize but sometimes the people who go there actually have good reasons and better lives, like in your case. But like in any kind of debatable story there are always many stories and some work out and some don't. The illegal immigrants who gain bad reputation for Mexico are the ones who go there and commit crimes and other stuff. But i'm glad it worked out for you ;)

I think illegal immigrants should be deported. I understand some of them want a better life, but coming here illegally doesn't make things better. America is already in debt, and many citizens are unemployed. Illegal immigrants shouldn't be getting jobs here while we're having these problems. Also, it isn't fair to legal immigrants. My mom is a legal immigrant and is currently becoming a citizen, and it costs a lot to file papers and hire a lawyer.
