On your birthday I wish you much pleasure and joy;
I hope all of your wishes come true.
May each hour and minute be filled with delight,
And your birthday be perfect for you!

Birthday Appreciation
Each year your birthday reminds me
That I really want to say
I’m very glad I know you;
I think of you each day.


I hope you enjoy your birthday,
All the pleasures it has in store,
And because I appreciate you,
I hope you have many more!

Birthday Blessings

Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings now,
As your birthday nears.


Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others who’ve enriched your life
Just by being there.


Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.


Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"

The Blessing of Bithdays
A short story by Helena(preferred to be called Carolyn)

I am here to tell you all about the blessing of a birthday.

You see, when you turn older every year, It matures you and makes you realize how important you are. It tells you how to succeed in life, even though you don't know it. It gives you a little bit more intelligence and that is 1 of the major things you need to succeed in life. As you grow older, your brain grows bigger.
When you grow older, it's not a bad thing. Some people think it's a bad thing because you start looking older, but growing older is good! All that it means is that you are healthy enough to live 365 days more then some others would!
If you think turning older is bad, you are wrong. Having birthdays is a blessing. You can clearly see that by now, I hope. If you've ever wondered why older people are smarter, this is why.

Once a year I get the chance
To wish you birthday cheer.
It pleases me no end to say,
I wish you another great year.


So happy birthday to you Mom,
From the bottom of my heart.
And may your good times multiply,
Till they’re flying off the chart!
