I am thrilled and excited about your idea! As you know, I agree wholeheartedly that traditional wellness approaches have and still are failing. I look forward to discussions on these books ...as well as those to follow. You may also want to look at what the WHO is up to http://www.who.int/hia/examples/overv...
Ok gang. The first book we're going to read together is Blue Ocean Strategy. It's a great book for getting you thinking about thinking outside the box. It demonstrates how companies can go about building a strategy in the Blue Ocean of uncontested waters compared with the Red Ocean (from the blood of competitors and you) where most of us spend our times trying to be a little better than the next guys. Whether you work for a company or are starting a wellness revolution, it's a great read to get you thinking about how we can learn to take the best from other companies, look across industries, alternatives, emotions and time to see how lessons and methods from other organizations could help us stake a claim in the blue ocean.
