Forever a Warrior discussion

Spiderstar quietly made her way towards MotherMouth, home of the Moonstone. She knew that Copperpaw trailed along behind her.

Copperpaw walked behind her leader, both excited and cautious. she'd never been up here before and, much as she just knew that a medicine cat was what she wanted to be, what she felt she should be, she was still anxious

Spiderstar stopped outside the entrance of Mothermouth and sat down. "Now we must wait for the other medicine cats."

((No prob. I doubt anyone else will post, but I'm going to wait a little while longer just in case.))

Copperpaw nodded, silent, and sat down next to Spiderstar, hoping it was the right thing to do. she didn't want anything to go wrong

"Come Copperpaw," Spiderstar mewed. "The others might be delayed or unable to leave their clan." The black and white she-cat got to her paws and then disappeared into the tunnel that lead to the MoonStone.

COpperpaw got up, slightly startled, as she'd gottwn used to the silence of wiating for the others, but she nodded, and obediently followed her leader down the tunnell

It grew darker and cooler as they moved deeper underground. Blackness settled in. "Copperpaw," Spiderstar mewed. "Follow the sound of my pawsteps, you will not be able to rely on your sight until we reach the MoonStone."

"ye......yes, Spiderstar" Copperpaw falterd, but rememered she had complete faith in her leader, and began to follow. the darkness was crushing. but as long as she could stil her the pawsteps.....

They did not have to walk far before in the darkness, before a faint light began to cut through the blackness. "The MoonStone is not far now. Can you see it's soft glow?"

Copperpaws eyes adjusted, and wquickly noticed the soft, almost luminescent glow that she guessed could only have been coming from the moonstone. she nodded "yes... yes i can"

Spiderstar lead the apprentice into the cavern that contained the glowing stone. The she-cat looked up at the small hole that allowed the trickle of moonlight to filter in. "Welcome" Her voice was barely a whisper, but it carried through the room and seemed to echo, but each reverberation of the greeting was slightly different, as if it was murmured by another.

Copperpaw looked round in awe. it was beautiful. "its...." she didn't continue, but listened as her voice echoed around the cave, magniified but also...... changed

"Your ancestors are welcoming you," Spiderstar purred. She sat down on one side of the MoonStone and nodded for Copperpaw to sit on the other side.

"my ancestors...." Copperpaw pricked an ear up as she listened to the reverberating voices, and her eyes widened. "really?" then she remembered herself and quickly sat down beside the moonstone

Spiderstar nodded, answering the apprentice's question. "Copperpaw, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of a medicine cat?" Her voice was warm and welcoming.

The mysteries? Everything semed crystal clear to Copperpaw. Medicine was what she was meant to do- what she ws made for. "yes..." she whispered, then spoke up "yes, i do"

"Then come forward. Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. She has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight, so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance with your will. Now, crouch down and touch your nose to the MoonStone."

Copperpaw stepped forward, fully aware that probably alot of starclan were watching her right now, and gently touched her nose to the stone

Spiderstar knelt down on the other side of the stone to enter into her own dreams with StarClan.

((o.O..... what should my dreams be like?))

((Kinda like a welcome, but just one or two cats. According to the plot, StarClan is getting taken over by darkness, so the SC cats are worried and stressed.))

Copperpaw found herself in a world of darkness- though stars outlining cats were visible. it seemed to Copperpaw thigns weren't quite as they should be, but she couldn't think why. welcome one of the figures said to the mystery of moonstone
"thankyou," Coperpaw mewed back. it ws odd, being in this place, she felt welcomed, but there was also a tese atmosphere to the place. maybe it was to do with the darknesse?
you came to learn the ways of medicine cat another starry outline spoke you'll make a good one. the clans need cats like you.
"why?" Copperpaw asked, confused "we have Spiderstar. with a leasder as good as her, the clans will always be safe."
the starry outlines of the cats looked at each other, as if deciding whether to tell Copperpaw something. the starclan is fading, clans are falling- shadows of words that were said, but not hear. the first cat stoped the second you are welcomed here. this is... your destiny, your home. cats will come to you for help, when they are wounded, or curious, or confused. perhaps you will train your own apprentice one day. you are useful and wanted. you are welcome

((Whatever you want her to do. It's rare that we actually finish a Moonstone meeting. They just fade away after a few days.)

((Yeah... Most of the time you'll RP in both because the time frames never add up. We're supposed to have meetings once a week, which would signify one month, where as in most role play it would take a month for us to progress one day.))
