What does everyone think of this series?

These are the books that got me into PNR :)

I love the series. Book 4 was my favorite. I was disapointed in this most recent book though. :-/ maybe that's just me... i will continue to read the series and watch TB on HBO though. :)

I find the series as a whole quite funny. Although it is kind of annoying when Sookie explains herself the exact way each book. I'm like, we know you are telepathic already! Why are you saying this again? But I do keep reading anyway and I would recommend the series. You really can't go wrong with studly vampires.

Sookie was one of my earliest introduction to the more Urban Fantasy side of Paranormals. I really love it, with 4 also being my favorite (but the series has started to decline). I also watch True Blood on HBO but I think of them as almost completely different things since the tone of each is so different.

I truly love this series as well. I am disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm the last two books seem to be missing.

I really loves the twist in dead in the family, but haven't quite got to dead reckoning yet :(

I love the series and the show. I liked that we got to learn more about Sookie's faiery side in dead reckoning

I've only just started in and they are already trying to find out about :)

Great books !!! Everytime I mention I'm reading the Sookie books I get alot of OMG's these books are awesome. Oh yeah and of course yummy Eric haha

Sabrina...your avatar all I can say is it's yum. I really do love this series. As stated on another thread..I really hope Charlaine Harris ends the series with a good bang! Though, I will be sad when it does end, just as I am with all my favorite series.

Yeah it will be gutting when it ends but I look forward to she how she does end it :)

Have you seen any of the preview chapters?

No. I don't like previews. It makes me too impatient. I don't like starting a series, either, unless I already have all of the books :)
