Chaste was playing his reeds up in the crow's nest, just waiting to be summoned for a task, it would come any second...
She looked up in the crow's nest. "Boy! What're you doin' up there?" She said, trying to disguise her Irish accent.
Morgan frowned, tucking her dirk into her belt. "Wait'll I get my hands on you," she mumbled, climbing up to check the flags.
Morgan swung back down on a rope, landing in front of Johanna. "Where're you supposed to be, little one?"
"I'm leaning against the edge of the ship m'am," Johanna replied, trying not to smirk. "I reckon the decks clean enough."
"Can you see your face, 'ma'am'?" Morgan frowned. "I can't see anything. Now, all the brine from the water'll make it pretty dirty within minutes, so what're you going to do?"
"Well I'm not sure m'am," Johanna said, unable to keep from smirking. "I reckon that'd mean Imma clean the deck in a couple minutes."
"When was the last time you cleaned it? Last week? Sure looks thataway." Morgan scowled at the smirk. "What's that look on yer face for? Ain't you never seen the boatswain doin' 'er job?"
"I do believe so," Johanna said seriously. "It's been a while since I cleaned the deck. Suppose I'll do it now."She decided not to answer Morgan's last two questions.
((g2g))
((aww, bye))Morgan frowned. "I'm sure glad I don't have your job." She twisted her dirk in her fingers again. "I'm responsible for all the ropes in general belonging to the ship: with all her cables, anchors, and sails; her flags, colours and pendants... Also responsible for making sure every man's correctly on watch and at his station. I'm responsible for discipline, too, so I'd get that look off yer face, child." She ran her fingers through her short red hair.
Chaste watched the two from the topof the Captian's Cabin. He shook his head and started playing a lively tune that some of the younger lads smiled to and worked faster, making the older one's a little lighter.
Chaste scrambled up to the crows nest and pulled a 'scope and pointed, and saw Loretta. He thought there was somthin' fishy about the guy.
Liam was in the Captains cabin trying to find a good way to get to Scaren Cove to do some trading. It would be a good 5 day trip but maybe less if Liam could find a detour. "Captain, I think we should go North East." Liam said.
(so can I like use ya'lls to like if I have a lot to say and ya'll arent on could I use ya'lls ppl?? And if Im not on you guys can use Liam :))

(ok sorry dont have to get all touchy just saying Rp goes way farther that way)
"yes Captain" Scarlet said. Scarlet went over to the rig joints and checked them they were all good. "there ready" (ok just to tell ya'll I dont know very many ship terms :P)
Scarlet went back to cleaning the deck she had done this job so many times it was almost relaxing for her, Scarlet would tune out all noise, Scarlet would hum a tune that she learned when she was six her father taught it to her, it was an old pirate song that was dark and depressing but it was Scarlets favorite.
"aye aye sir! Everyone look alive!!" Scarlet said while walking up and down the ship. (wait ok so I know Im on your ship Thera but who else is on your ship and whos on Zoe's? I mean Liam is but I need to know this stuff I fell like a retard!!)
"Cap'n will you be needing my assistance?" Scarlet said taking out her dagger.
Scarlet smiled. "be ready men!" Scarlet said.
Scarlet went and helped to get the boarding hooks ready.
Johanna nodded to Morgan and reluctantly began cleaning the ship deck. She sang softly to herself."Sing, sweet nightingale."
Ramira poked her head out of a doorway. "Oh no! Dinner's almost finished and I'm not about to stop for another skirmish!" She came out, ladle in hand and anger flaring in her eyes.
Morgan rolled her eyes. "Ramira, calm down." She grabbed a rope, swinging over. "It won't interfere with your...food making..."
"Cooking," Ramira said. "And I wouldn't complain, Morgan, or I'll make sure to put something extra in your plate." She smiled mischievously.
