What is everyones favorite book in this series?

message 2: by Brad (new)

Brad (judekyle) So far, of the five I have read, I would have to say Exile. But I've only read the first five chronologically.

My favorite so far is the lone drow of the hunters blades trilogy. Its just a great book all around in my opinion.

Impossible to say... I can never decide when I think about this.

Well, which books do like and dislike. I like all of the ones I've read but It was easy for me too pick the lone drow. Did you read thr Hunters Blades trilogy?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

I've read all of Drizzt's legend. And Hunters Blades is pretty dang good.

Olin | 113 comments all of them, well ok the sea of swords. the first time you see drizzt and catti-brie togather is pretty sweet.

message 8: by Mical (new)

Mical The Pirate King is currently the best for me. I love the Transitions series so far. I can't wait for the next installment!

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

The best thing was that I had no idea what the pirate king would be about! Because they had finished off the problems with Obould and the north, so I was always trying to piece together what was going to happen next. It really left me in the dark, so it was really good when he released it. Now I'm still in the dark for the ghost king.

Joshua (Rudd03) | 2 comments I cna't wait to get to the transitions. It's really hard to say what is my favorite. Drizzt has been my favorite character for some time now. But "the lone drow was the first Drizzt book I read, the one that spawned my crazyed obsession so I would go for it as my favorite.

Clint (uncleclinto) | 2 comments Does "Promise of the Witch King" count, as it does not include Drizzt, per se? Still, admittedly I spend most my reading of Drizzt novels anxiously awaiting the appearance of Entreri or Jarlaxle... I guess that really makes me more of an Entreri and Jarlaxle fan... but would they have ever made it onto the printed page were it not for Drizzt?

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I like them too! And I think it would since it's included in the legends.

message 16: by Michael (new)

Michael Dolan i would say either servant of the shard or siege of darkness, but i haven't read much except the "legend of drizzt"

gunwitch72 (txmatt) | 3 comments For me it's Spine of the World. I, for some reason just really attached myself to Wulfgar and his degradation in this book. I guess we all stumble at times.

message 18: by Olin (new)

Olin | 113 comments he did more then stumble...

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

heheh... he kind of plummeted more or less.

message 20: by Alexander (new)

Alexander Draganov (darthsparhawk) All "Dark Elf Trilogy" books. Amazing novels. Action-packed, but very emotional.

message 21: by Tamara (new)

Tamara (tcornelsen) I'd have to say 'Exile' and 'Sojourn'. In 'Exile', he really wrestles with what he knows in his heart to be true, and how that contrasts with the society in which he was raised. He faces his inner demons, and manages to emerge victorious, but barely. In 'Sojourn', he basically puts his money where his mouth is, turning his back on the society he grew up in b/c he now finds it so utterly repellent. He chooses to take his beliefs out into the world.

message 22: by Alex (new)

Alex (mr-humpage) Servant of the shard. The first one I read and still my favourite. Epic.

message 23: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Zhang I love the Dark elf trilogy. Exile is probably my favorite. (Out of the 12 I have read so far)

gunwitch72 (txmatt) | 3 comments SOTW and TLT(only on page 265, but still loving this one !

Ireth Seregon (irethmonica) | 14 comments what are those abbrev? haha

message 26: by Ros (new)

Ros (akanas33) | 5 comments I agree with alex. Servant of the Shard. Servant of the shard isn't only my favorite of this series. It's my favorite of all times. The end. xDD. In a short miss, I would definitely say The Silent Blade.

I was a little disapointed of how things developed after SOTS, though i still havent read the most recent (Neverwinter saga, I mean) I was expecting much more of the mercenaries... it wasn't bad, but definitely did not fullfiled my expectatives. As for Drizzt, I know everyone just loved Sea of swords... but I really couldn't get much into it, it took a lot of effortt, and ultimately, I skipped a few tomes.

If my grammar/spelling/whatever is wrong, please, excuse me, and explain me. English is my second language, and I still end up screwing up sometimes u.u

Tabatha (lylathewicked) | 1 comments i havent read them all yet. I am on Starless Night... but I did really enjoy the Icewind Dale trilogy.

message 28: by Eric (new)

Eric Treu | 1 comments I've read quite a few of those books, and I've either got to go with The Crystal Shard or The Servant of The Shard. I loved Promise of the Witch-King but Artemis working to get his hands on Charon's Claw in Servant is amazingly written. I also liked the development of his character a lot, same with the wizard with Crenshinibon in The Crystal Shard (i can never remember his name).
