I'm kind of ticked. I got book 2 and was ready to read it. Turns out I haven't read book 1 yet. Grrr. ;)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 2770 comments I think these books have a gouerous covers, but they are books I couldn't get into. I tried the first book, but it wasn't for me. Surprised me because I really like this author.

Remedial Magic by Jenna Black is in this series too. It is a short story, it's free on B&N now. Not sure about other sites for e-readers.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2445 comments Just found out that Sirensong is the last book in the series. Clearly it wasn't written as the final book. Obtaining contracts seem to be hard for Black. Which is sad considering she has such a big fan base.

I don't read this series, but do think it is too bad she can't keep a contract. That was the reason why she quit the Morgan Kinsey series.

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments She doesn't write any more MK? Is it finished properly? If not I am not going to read the last two as I like the series and don't want to be left hanging.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 2770 comments That one is finished in a way that is ok. There could be more, but there isn't a cliff hanger stopping point.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2445 comments It's just so sad!! I love all of her series. I feel pouty when I say it, but it's just not fair . . .

I wonder if she has issues meeting deadlines, or if her fans tend to rent or borrow rather than buy.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 2770 comments With as much as she writes I bet it is the second part Heather.

message 12: by Carrie (Care) (new)

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments That sucks. I haven't read this one but I have the first one. I don't know if I want to read it if it ends in a way that it wasn't intended to end.

Hillary (eledri) | 61 comments This news just makes me highly annoyed, because the ending just leaves you going "ah good...there will be another book." Come to find there wont...grrrrr not cool at all. These books were a light read and I actually liked them. Arwan was awesome. Name alone was awesome.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2445 comments There's still hope that her agent will pull through and find a deal. Right now they are trying to concentrate on her new urban fantasy series. She's have a bit of a hard time getting the OK for the next ones.

Personally, I buy everything she puts out.
