Has anyone tried Twitter for writing? It is a micro-blogging site and there are a few authors using it to try to write and get readers to subscribe to their writing. Would be interested in any feedback.

Dianne Ascroft | 1 comments I haven't tried it but am also interested in any feedback about it. I have to admit I know very little about Twitter in general.

It's too superficial for my tastes. That isn't to say I won't start using it one day...and if I do, well then my opinion of it will have changed. :)

So far I can't seem to get into it either. Quillpill.com is a "cellphone writing" website that has followed the Twitter model -- every entry is only 140 characters long. I am wondering if anyone has tried that?
