I keep reading all these blogs out there talking about summer reads! But considering that Aussie Land is now approaching winter, I was wondering what everyones favourite winter reads are??? You know the ones that make you want to curl up with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate in front of the heater.

Hmm... I like reading a good fantasy in the winter. Something I can totally immerse myself in. One of those traditional types with long quests and stays at cosy inns with warm soup and ale (not that I drink ale, 'cause it's probably gross, but the idea is a little romantic, don't you think?)Those are the type of books I like to curl up with in winter. I can't give you specifics since I'm not big on re-reading, so there isn't a particular book I read every winter or anything...
Something dark and gothic, paranormal, you know Winter is PERFECT for sad, depressing novels ( the ones that Sas loves :P) Unfortunately, I don't read them :/ so I can't recommend any but Entangled by Cat Clarke was good ;)It's so much easier to pick a summer read and quite frankly I read summer novels 365 days a year since I wear T-shirts 365 days a year :)
I think I feel warmer whenever I read books, no matter WHAT kind they are. Possibly this has something to do with the fact that half the time I'm tucked in bed or under a blanket. :) (the other half I'm taking a train or in front of the computer)
