I've actually only read Quiet Days in Clichy. The others I've picked up are longer, more difficult reads; I'll get to them when I feel up to the challenge.

In that case you might like Quiet Days in Clichy. It gives me a terrible urge to move to France, become a writer, live on wine, bread and cigarettes, and fuck like, well, Henry Miller.

Obviously not, but the book is set in France and it's part of that whole bohemian fantasy.

I tried Tropic of Capricorn, but didn't get very far. It's stream of consciousness, which I don't particularly like (plus it's hard work to read, at least for me) so I'll try again another time.

Haven't read Bukowski yet, but he's on my "I really must read this one day" list.
