Natalie, That almost sounds like a topic for a bizarro novel...LOL A new race of beings was spawned from Seattle, not enough sunlight, but the warm temps and the humidity caused people with weakened immune systems to grow mold....I may be on to something!! :-)

Write it up Girl! And be sure to thank Natalie in the acknowledgements for being the first person to begin growing mold!

Maybe I'll let James or one of the other NBAS guys take that one, I'm not sure how well I could write bizarro, I think you have to have a special touch for it!! :-)

didn't Stephen King already do that? I remember something in Freakshow that was pretty close to that. it's still a great idea!

did he really do that??? Wouldn't you love to be inside his mind for just a few minutes? I always wondered what it was like in there.....

I think the inside of Stephen King's head would be a place that no one but Mr. King wants to be inside. I think there are way too many monsters still waiting to get out.

that book looks Really interesting....put my name down Please :o) oh and with that Mold thing i remember watching something (i dont remember what it was called - it might have been the twilight zone maybe) it was about an asteroid landed on this guys property and when he touched it - obviously it was hot so he licked his fingers but then he started to grow green mold - and slowly it started taking over until he and Everything really basically eneded up looking like the Grinch :o)

I love it!!! He licked his fingers and started growing mold!!! that is fabulous. I haven't thought about twilight zone in forever....that's the classics right there....

It was Funny As - it started with this little Green fuz on his fingers and around his Mouth and it eneded with him sitting in a Lounge Chair with everything around him all complete Covered with the Green Fuzzy Moss LOL he looked like something Jim Henson created LOL

You're referring to Creepshow, the second story, based on a Stephen King tale.

It is a creepy concept. Too bad Stephen King did it already. But that doesn't mean one of us can't take the idea and run in a different direction with it!

Hmmmm. now there's a plot twist, good smelling mold....and if the mold is purple it could smell like fruit or flowers.....although I don't think that is very creepy....hahaha.

lol, oh yes, the creepy part is that the purple good smelling mold like fruit or flowers is just a way to draw people in and the WHAM my good smelling mold gives off a toxic smell rendering them unconscience to take them back to my undergound lair.... mwuahhhhhhh lol.

I have an idea for how that story could go. The tough part is making it different from Stephen King's story. Maybe I'll write it sometime. In the meantime, enjoy this fungus-related video:
