Just finished smooth reading "The Soul of Susan Yellum" for distributed proofreaders. This book will be available on the Project Gutenberg site soon. If you have the time, or at least the desire, you can smooth read texts which have been proofread, formated and processed but still need one last go-through before they are published on the site. It is not the page by page comparison that proofreading on the site is, but it is very important in the overall work. You do not need to keep all the rules in mind, just read the book as you would a regular book and make any notations of things which may need a second look before the book is published to the site. Go to pgdp.net to get started.
