not always..but in some cases that does happen.

middle, i'm just saying from my own personal view

Just graduated 8th grade and am going to highschool. Middle school is dramatic and you learn so much more about yourself. You mature more and actually become soo much closer to your friends then elementery. And you either become more studios or can be washed up in all the drAMA.

Today was my last day of 8th grade, but my graduation isn't till next week.

lmfao half of my class was from my school so I was all chill then I had a friend who knew a few other girls but she's a year younger so I made new friends already XP

No. I passed all mine except for Algebra where I got a C. and yeah I do I wanna get better and if you don't have to it's still good to go for Health class.

The way it works is that most schools have a state/ government test (ex:IOWAS). Based on how every kid does they figure out the average kid's mark which is yeah,sadly a 70. (but we're talking about the entire America, so not everyone's education is equal)

At least at my school it's:

A = 90%-100%
B = 80%-89%
C = 70%-79%
F = 0%-69%

You have a graduation when you finish 8th grade? At my school the only "graduation" we have is when the principal says: We would like to recognize the 8th graders. And she says that at the all school end of the year assembly.

Yeah and its like a big deal for us- like we have class representatives (the smart kids who study tons)who speak by it, and we have caps and gowns (that are white!-ugh), but i go to private so maybe its different?

It's probably just different because I go to a private school too. I guess we don't have a graduation because when we go to high school we just move to the building next door on the same campus.

Sometimes it does suck, but I like it. There is just a lot of drama between all of the preppy rich girl cheerleaders.

Most of also do, just our h.s building is around the block. IDK, guess your school is just different

Got my report card yesterday or something. I GOT ALL A'S!!!!!!

Well, no- everyone had to take an entrance exam, and have an interview. But anyway who's been going to the same school (and not coming from a different elementary school) is pretty much likely to get in. (though there are a few kids in my grade who didn't get accepted or were on probation or something)

I go to private school, and I had a graduation last year, even though the high school is around the block.
