I'm Sammy, and I became OBSESSED with Sherlock Holmes when the new movie came out in 2009.

Hi I'm Connor, and I'm the coolest person you'll ever meet, because I read classics like Sherlock Holmes, even though I haven't completed a Sherlock Holmes book yet. I also like video games, and music, and riding my bike, and sleeping, and yeah... So hi!

Hi Connor! Um... I just started creating this group about twenty minutes ago, so please excuse the bareness of it all :)

Greetings, my name is Ariel, and I've been a fan of Sherlock Holmes since I was at least six-years old. I've read the stories since, and even loved the new movie with Robert Downey Jr in it, as well as an Disney animated movie that was inspired by Sherlock Holmes, called The Great Mouse Detective. I still have yet to finish watching all the influenced shows, movies, and read all the stories. Besides being a Sherlockian, I enjoy movies, music, exercising, acting, writing, running, martial arts, astrology, witchcraft, philosophy, criminal justice, and much more. So is it okay, to say hi? ^-^

Awesome. I've only read some of the books and haven't seen any of the movies or shows or anything. Welcome to the group!

Hi! I've read most of the stories but I'm also obsessed with Sherlock outside of the Canon such as the new movie, BBC's new Sherlock TV show, and other non- Conan Doyle novels. Welcome!

Some of my groups I don't like. I just don't want to offend people by quitting. Actually, I don't like large groups. 50 people is WAY too many for me.

I quit most of those.

But what if only like five out of the fifty are actually active?

Well, I mainly look at the language

Hi Connor! Connor, have you read any of the SH books yet, just wondering?

I'm 54% of the way through A Study In Scarlet.

What do you think of it? (I got a Study in Scarlet graphic novel a few weeks ago, and it's awesome! But Holmes looks a little weird...)

I don't remember... I think it's good but I haven't picked it up in three months 'cause I have to read it on the computer and I get headaches from reading so many words on the computer screen, so when I get a Kindle or the library decides to be not so stupid, then I'll read more.

I'm the same way when I try to read on my iPod. The screen is way too small and bright.

Yeah. The libraries in this town are so DUMB!!!! The school library has a couple, but I don't want the complete Sherlock Holmes, I just want one story. The other library doesn't even know what Sherlock Holmes is! ooooooooooooo how it grinds my gears.

Oh, well. Maybe you could buy a copy off amazon? I imagine it would be cheap, since it's so old.

I'll get a Kindle soon, so I'll just get it for that.

Meh, I like regular plain old books.
