So umm...what books should we talk about?
I want book recommendations on awesome books that I've never read! :P
...you know, i'm starting to feel pressured. but okay. fine.THe Children's War: Like I said before, kinda inappropriate for our age group, but a good book nonetheless.
Eon/Eona: Eona is the sequel. Shannon, it's that book you returned for me.
The Starvaganza Series: I'm not sure if you guys read these yet, but they're really good.
my suggestions:
BEFORE WE WERE FREE
by Julia Alvarez
Summer Sisters
by Judy Blume
BALZAC AND THE LITTLE CHINESE SEAMSTRESS
Dai Sijie
^^ I never read these books before, but they looked interesting. Susan?

You know, it's really hard for me to recommend books because you guys read basically EVERY book that I read.Okay, here are some awesome series that you guys have may/may not read before:
-Hunger Game series
-Nicholas Sparks books (The Guardian-tho it is a bit creepy but in an interesting way, Last Song,
-The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Okay...I have some other likes, but you guys probably read those.
These are interesting books that I haven't read but are on my top to-read list:
-Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
-Seven Tears Into the Sea
-Vampire Academy series
-The Heir Chronicles series
-March by Geraldine Brooks
-My Lobotomy (okay, the story sounds disturbing but it interests me for some reason)

Uhh...Shannon. Lobotomy was a process where unlicensed physicians stuck needles into the patients' eyeballs in order to "cure" them. It'd say it's more disturbing than funny.....lol. But yeah. When I first heard the word, I was thinking of lobsters because of the "lob" part.

We have to read Roots, but I guess we can have a discussion during August.
