What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I have this amazingly vivid memory of a children's book that I can't find. There were very colorful illustrations throughout. All these monsters that live near one another decide to have a giant feast and all bring different delicacies. They are all different shapes and colors, but many look rather dinosaurish. At the party, an argument starts and it precipitates a giant free-for-all that causes all the monsters to run away and disappear except one small female monster who is left behind. She is a little lonely but happy and peaceful. The last scene is of her swimming in clear water making friends with some fish.

This is totally random, but I don't know if you're trying to track down a book from your childhood or find a cute book for your kid or whatever. On the off chance you're looking for fun books for a child, on a trip to the library with my daughter recently, I saw a book called Dragons Love Tacos that was super cute. It seems to me that a kid that liked your monster food party book would like the dragon taco party book, too! :)

No that one wasn't it. The monsters were all very reptilian, along the dragon/dinosaur continuum. Thanks anyway, Kris!
